Summary: I've been a Spyro fan since the first, so I eagerly awaited this PS2 one and forked out to buy it as soon as it was released. I can't help wishing I'd waited 'til it went down in price a bit! As far as the graphics go, it's stunning!
Summary: I am 8 years old and i thought this was an exciting game, good graphics, good enermies, good everything! But it sometimes crashed when i got up the swirly- thingy to Cloud 9 and when i was running down the hallway in Dragonfly Dojo. The other thing was the dragonflies, they gave me a pain in my neck...
Summary: I loved the previous Spyro games, and was thrilled to see Universal take up the series - but very dissapointed with the result. The game is VERY buggy, including sound glitches, freezing, and visual glitches (like Spyro's head getting stuck twisted backwards over his spine - amusing, but not great...
Summary: This game is not fun--it is a frustrating mess. I wrote a letter to Universal Interactive two days after getting this game for Christmas and told them they ought to be ashamed of themselves for foisting such a sham of a game on the public. The game froze up on us six times in two days.
Summary: this is the best spyro games ever! if everyone said this game was stupid DONT LISTEN TO THEM! this games load times are very fast there even faster than crash bandicoot the wrath of cortex. any way in the begining spyro, hunter, sparx, and bianca are having a party with the dragonflies.
Summary: Where to begin... First of all the graphics are beautiful, very colorful eye candy! Spyro's breath attacks look excellent as well! the fire is still my favorite. The flames look like real flames, instead of paper shots in the other Spyro series.
Summary: I have not had the problems described by other players. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that this was a rental game. But shouldn't that do more harm than good? Perhaps it's because I have a brand-new PS2. But should that matter? I've never played a previous Spyro game.
Summary: I bought this for my daughter for Christmas but only after we had rented it to see if it was worth buying. It is a good game in its own right, though I have to agree with the other reviewers that Insomniac did a much better job. But I still like the Spyro series.
