Great family fun for all

sazzi, Ciao

  • Excerpt: I played this game and had a whole heap of fun. I found that Spyro the Dragon was more floaty when moving and found this quite hard to master. It was quite different to other Spyros that I have played (using just fire breath) because on this one you had to find breath such as Ice, Water and...
  • Pros: Great family fun and amusement
  • Cons: Time consuming and sometimes frustrating

  • Excerpt: …And I'll begin with a brief history lesson. When the original Spyro The Dragon game arrived on the PlayStation back in 1998, there was considerable hype surrounding the project.
  • Pros: Enjoyable and well - crafted gameplay, nicely - judged humour, diverse levels and tasks, good mini - games
  • Cons: Last - generation graphics, poor frame - rate, shocking loading times, poor distribution of levels

Another spyro game

  • Excerpt: I love Spyro, its easy enough for my little brother to do well to make up his own things to do and challenging enough to keep me entertained. However after buying this one a while back I became very disappointed with this game.
  • Pros: challenging enough to keep big kids happy
  • Cons: can get very frustrating

  • Excerpt: ......INTRO.......... So. We have another Spyro game. Enter the Dragonfly. I guess that sounds fun. Just by looking at the case you think spyro has grown up a bit, he looks slightly more determined to actually kick some ass this time rather than just go *poof*.
  • Pros: It's just like all the other spyro games .  .
  • Cons: It's just like all the other spyro games !  !  lol

It should've ended with the third one!

  • Summary: When the purple dragon with the sparkly dragonfly first glided into our lives on PSOne, the offerings weren't gold standard, but it was in some respects an OK game. Then came Spyro's second outing, better, but still lacking a certain something.

Spyro-enter the dragonfly

Amazon
19 September 2004
  • Summary: A real disappointment. I was really looking forward to this game but have given up on it already. The movement of Spyro is not half as good as the PS1 games, he is much more difficult to control.

Exit the familiar fun

Mike M., Amazon

  • Summary: If you enjoyed Spyro 3 then I suggest you get it out and play it again. You will have a far better time and save yourself some money. There is little or nothing new in 'Enter the Dragonfly' and what there is is so badly presented that it takes all the good out of it.

Spyro 3 sorry 4

Amazon
19 September 2004
  • Summary: A sheer dissapointment is what this game was to me, believing the 4th in the series to be better than the others was a huge mistake on my part. The other 3 games were similiar but yet different enough to keep you interested, the makers have obviously thrown a game together for the PS2, which is...
