Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run

GameSpot

  • Excerpt: Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run is a bit of an anomaly. It was developed as the game tie-in for a motion picture inspired by the Spy Hunter franchise, with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson starring in both. As of this writing, though, the Spy Hunter motion picture is nowhere to be seen, making it seem arbitrary that Midway would release a new Spy Hunter game featuring The Rock.
  • Pros: It's got The Rock, Pacing never lets up
  • Cons: Unbalanced brawling mechanics, Dirt-stupid artificial intelligence, Unwieldy controls in vehicular sequences, It's all been done before, and done better

Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run

Game Over Online

  • Excerpt: In this third 3D reincarnation of the legendary Spy Hunter, Midway enlisted the services of Dwayne “the Rockâ€ Johnson to breathe life into the main character, Alex Decker. This effort works well to give players someone to root for, and Johnson does an incredible job of making the character come alive with both his voice and motion capture work. Unfortunately, the game suffers from some major problems that prevent it from being a must-play game.

  • Conclusion: Nowhere to Run seems as though it was designed less as a natural continuation of the Spy Hunter franchise and more as an action vehicle for The Rock, and it feels like an awkward pairing. It gets a few things right, but the game overextends itself, and in the process of trying to be both a third-person action game and an action-packed driving game, it does neither well.
  • Pros: It's got The Rock, Pacing never lets up.
  • Cons: Unbalanced brawling mechanics, Dirt-stupid artificial intelligence, Unwieldy controls in vehicular sequences, It's all been done before, and done better.

Spy Hunter : Nowhere to Run

  • Pros: Cooler Held, Fahrpassagen
  • Cons: Abwechslungsarm, Dumme Gegner, Technisch durchschnittlich

  • Pros: Abwechslungsreich, Freispielbare Extras
  • Cons: Schlappe Technik, Unmotivierte Sprecher, Kameraprobleme, Hakelige Steuerung
