Summary: I never cared much for the Spiderman movies, but I bought the PS2 for only a dollar last year at a thrift store. The game is actually a lot of fun to play with great graphics. A dollar well spent.
Summary: This game overall is one of my favorites. It really deserves 4 and a half stars. But one of the things is a lot of the things in the game don't happen in the movie. This is not a problem for me and probably for most. In the game you not only fight the Green Goblin but the Shocker, Vulture, and Scorpion, with the addition of Uncle Ben's killer (who really isn't a supervillian). Another nice thing about this game is the combat, which can also be a hassle at times.
Summary: this game isn't that bad but some of the things stink.Like when you have to go to oscorp and beatup the robots i havn't beaten that yet and you cant go on the ground.and you have to fight some people tht wern't in the movie.but the graphics are really good and its not that violent so little kids can play it.
Summary: overall, this is a great game!! If you like spiderman, definitely get it. Its kind of challenging. But there are tons of extra features, including lots of codes that range from playing with the Green Goblin to having infinite web damage. Also there are comic strips and things that go into the game. The graphics are good, they do it nicely and they look even better when spidey gets his REAL costume.
Summary: I'll give this game 4 out of 5 because the graphics are really enhanced with the 3-D environment and The great Spidey movement animation, and the sound quality is top quality as well, but Spiderman himself doesnt quite strike me as the true comic superhero for people to look up to. Not to mention hearing Tobey Magwire narrating throughout the game gets me irritated.
Summary: Building on their success with the surprisingly good Spider-Man games on the PS1, Activision and Treyarch managed to craft a great game based on Marvel's resident web slinger. The game's storyline more or less follows the plot of the smash hit film, while incorporating extra villians from the comic like Shocker, Vulture, and Scorpion. The graphics, minus a few glitches and frame rate slowdown, are otherwise phenominal and give a great looking New York City.
Summary: This game was much better then Wolverine's Revenge and a bit better then the Hulk. This game is extremely fun, from the web-swinging [Which goes into the sky and beyond]to the fighting. The storyline closely follows that of the movie except when you battle added super-villians such as the Vulture or Scorpion.
Summary: Spider-Man is a really awesome game with only one flaw in its design. THE GAME IS TOO SHORT. You could beat it in 4 hours and after you've beaten it a few times, it gets really boring and you don't want to play it anymore. But overall the game is great. The graphics are awesome and the movement space is really cool. The areial acrobatics are a very neat feature in the game and the fully interactive enviornment is just amazing.
Summary: This is without a doubt the best Spidey game ever. I played the first two on the PSone but they were missing something, different combos. This game has a whole bunch of fighting combos to use against enemies like Scorpion, Shocker, and of course the Green Goblin. The game is short though, but the cool thing is you get to unlock new costumes and extra game modes like bowling. So if you are a Spidey fan, get this game!!!
Summary: All I can say is, this game has alot of potential. The graphics aren't bad, but they won't win any awards. The gameplay when swinging through the cities is exciting but when Spidey hits the indor levels he gets "less manueverable". The camera angle can sometimes greatly affect the gameplay. Sound is ok, with Tobey Maguire voicing spiderman and william dafoe voicing the green goblin.
