Summary: Three 3-d Spider-man games have come out since the release of Spider-man 2. Ultimate Spider-man, Spider-man 3, and Spider-man: Web of Shadows. Ultimate Spider-man was too story heavy, and there was nothing to do if you weren't heading to a mission. And, the story kinda sucked anyway. To be honest, I haven't played Spider-man 3 though. But I've heard nothing but bad about it, and I don't want to waste $4 on renting a piece of crap.
Pros: Loads of content, Addictive gameplay, Innovative concepts, Just plain fun
Summary: This was a great game that makes excellent use of a non-linear story line. Allowing the player to explore the entirety of New York City, while scattering random mini-game-esque throughout the map, making the exploration of the map not only fun, but eventful as well. The upgrade system was also very interesting, earning points for all events, story line advancements and random encounters and buying the upgrades made the earning of new techniques very enjoyable.
Summary: This game give players the feel of swinging around like spidey that leaves one in awe. Scale up tall buildings and jump straight off and then shot your web and fling yourself to another building. The feeling is great. Too bad that is only really great part of the game. Its graphics are good. As is the sound. The control is well made. You shoot web to catch foes or you can shoot another to pull yourself to surfaces. Then the bad part.
Summary: I think this game is great! The sound, the controls, and the gameplay are all awesome! I love the part where this evil villian Beck challenges you, to show that Spiderman is a fake and that Spiderman doesn't have any "powers". I won't spoil the rest of the game for you but if you are wondering if it's good and wondering if you should get it... YOU SHOULD!
Summary: What can I say, Spider-man 2 is the best game based on a movie ever created. This time around you actually get to save civilians and at the same time manage a social life. Your allowed to swing anywhere and actually lan don the ground without dying compared to the 1st game. In this game you see Black cat, Mysterio, Rhino, and of course Doc ock!! Activison did quite well with this game as far as graphics and everything in it!!
Summary: Not all movie based and licensed games have to be completely average or just plain bad. Spider-Man 2 isn't just the best Spider-Man game of all time, it's possibly the best super hero game of all time as well. Stepping above and beyond the first game, Spider-Man 2 allows you to take on the role of the web-slinger as you swing and fight your way through a completely free roaming New York City. And when I say free roaming, I mean free roaming.
Summary: You've seen Spider-Man 2 on the big screen, now be him on your screen. It's Spider-Man as you never seen him before. He a free roaming in New York City. Story - 4.0 It based on the movie's storyline in Spider-Man 2 but with more to do. Spider-Man patrols the city from saving citizens to stopping robbers while living a normal life. It seems like Spider-Man never sleeps.
Summary: This game is great. Like any game, it has some good things & some bad things. Let's talk about the good things first. You can web-swing around almost all of the big apple. You can go almost anywhere in Manhatten. You can also go to the Statue of Liberty, Roosavelt Island, just about anywhere but Brooklyn and Bronx. You can get all kinds of sweet upgrades from the spidey store. You can even pick up bad guys and throw them around. Much better then the PC version.
