Summary: When I first loaded up Spartan: Total Warrior, I felt that although fairly average, it was a good game to play to take a break from the more serious games out there. However, as time went on, everything became very stale and bland and there simply was not enough to make me want to keep playing. Plot: You play an unnamed warrior simple called Spartan that sets out to save his civilization from the threat of the Romans.
Summary: Ok so another game from the succesful makers of Total War, this game has a lot to live up to. Spartan total warrior is very easy to master and provides a solid base of entertainment in the short term, however it is a very short game and can be completed within a week (playing basically an hour or two a day) The battle are pretty basic compared to other such hack and slash games eg. Lord of the rings and Baldurs Gate, and the gameplay becomes increasively repetitive.
Summary: This game is good for a little while but it is much to short. i finished it in about 8 hours. It has very little replay value and the multiplayer and bonus levels are pretty crap. If you are buying it because you think it might be like the Total War games you are sadly mistaken. There is one saving grace though, the levels in Athens are some of the best that i have seen in a game. This game is quite similar to Dynasty Warriors but not as good.
