Summary: After some bits of information, curious and stunning, from Soul Reaver 1, in this game a lot of plots are revealed involving Raziel's destiny, and his relation of vengeance and hatred with Kain slowly transforms into a more purposeful journey. Nosgoth's past and future situations are shown as Raziel's jouneys through them and new enemies are available. The game is graphically prettier than S.R.1, but it's replay isn't as thrilling as S.R.1.
Summary: nothing ground breaking. just a continuation of soul reaver part 1 thats not a diss or anything i like it it just feels more like an exspansion pack for soulreaver not a new game. that being said if you loved soulreaver as much as me then give it a go its a solid game and you will already know all the controls already.
Summary: The graphics (at that time) and storyline (convoluted though it may well be) set this apart from a lot of games on the market and lend it an epic and ominous feel. This is a game that could (and should) never be subjected to the "let's make a movie out of it" phenomenon because it manages to be both maddeningly non-linear on one hand such a huge cinematic experience unto itself The voice acting, as has been the case throughout the LoK series (even the disappointing...
Summary: Soul Reaver 2, is an excellent sequel to Soul Reaver, as far as the Story is concerned.. it has some wonderful plot twists, and the ending is fantastic and unexpected... However, the Gameplay is what makes this games Value, drop like a brick. First, there is a serious bug in the first "forge" that keeps you from exiting. If the bug occures, and threw normal game play, it does, you have to reset, and go threw the whole dungeon again.
Summary: Hello all Soul Reaver fans and non-fans alike. For those of you that have not played the original soul reaver game read here, if you have already played it please read the next paragraph. For those of you not in the know there is a first soul reaver game for the original playstation. This was an exelent game and i would suggest it to anyone who is a fan of any vampire legend.
Summary: Well worth the wait despite how quickly I finished it. This game is most definitely the best of its kind so far. The game play is excellent, the story is compelling (and it even makes sense if you pay attention) and the voice acting - superb! There seems to be no extraneous charachters in the game, which is nice. I really only have one complaint about this game, what happened to Morpheus and the Elder God? There was no explanation of their fates?
Summary: After beating the first Soul Reaver I couldn't wait for the second one to get here, I was even more jazzed that it was going to be on Playstation2! For you Soul Reaver vets part 2 is graphically far better than the first (obviously). One of the coolest surprises about the second installment of this series is that all the abilities you obtained from the first game have returned to the second!
Summary: Sucessor of the "Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver", this action adventure game continues the revenge of Raziel, pursuing through time, Kain, his murderer and former master. Better graphics and level design, better combat, better puzzles and better story, between time, physical and the ethereal planes, are some of the many reasons to, once again, accompany Raziel in his adventures.(its not mandatory, but I advise you to buy the previous game to fully apreciate this one).
Summary: For my liking there seems a bit too much dialogue in here that you cannot skip. If you are re-doing a bit you have to listen to several minutes of dialogue again, whereas in the original you could skip with a press of a button. Also at the end it gets to a point where you cannot die, so could be in a battle, leave it going over a cup of tea, and be back no worse for wear! This just seems a bit too easy.
Summary: I'm a big fan of the Legacy of Kain series, loved the first Soul Reaver and couldn't wait to play Soul Reaver 2. I enjoyed the game but found it really easy and far to short, the only puzzle I had any trouble with was the light crystals in Janus's lair. If your a fan of the series you'll enjoy the game, but if you've never played a Legacy of Kain game before, start with Soul Reaver before playing Soul Reaver 2.
