Summary: My old one was too scratched up. (got swapped. x.x Mine was clean and so called family had theirs that was damaged and they swapped me, then lost the game so i had to buy another.) For me this is the last good soul calibur game. sc4 just felt weird and I didn't like my equipment determining my stats. No custom classes, no modes.. sc5 i don't even... XD Anyway I like this game because the effects on sc3 just had me way more into the game and it was fun.
Summary: This was really the first Soul Calibur game I've gotten into, and it's probably the best one in my opinion. The story mode for each character is pretty deep and there are actually several different paths for each character. The paths themselves don't exactly change the ending, but the people you end up fighting against. There are a couple different endings for each character though, brought on by quick time events at the end of the game.
Summary: SoulCalibur III is a game everyone MUST own for their PlayStation 2 library. Even though I'm not in it for the customization, it does offer a ton of articles for your personalized characters to wear. One of the most outstanding gamemodes in this game is Chronicles of the Sword; it's a basic strategy mode where you have to capture bases and fight other soldiers.
Summary: As a fighting game fan who could pass up Soulcalibur III the first one in the series to feature CaS mode. This was the start of being able to Create our own Fighters. A concept that any fighting game fan would like. Who wouldn't want to Create their own Fighters. Soulcalibur III was ahead of it's time. I wouldn't mind seeing an HD Remake of this title some time down the road. But for now if u got a PS2 don't pass up this great game.
