Summary: "Soldier Of Fortune," originally developed by Raven Software and published by Activision for the PC, has been ported over to the Playstation 2 by Pipedream Interactive. Predictably, this means the graphics quality has gotten a downgrade, but the extreme amounts of violence and gore have remained...
Summary: I don't know why I purchased Soldier of Fortune. It's not that I regret it, necessarily, it's just that I had never played it, and I had only read mixed reviews. So I think, what intrigued me, was the controversy over the "gore-zones" this game featured, and how violent it was supposed to be.
Summary: i'm hardly used to the ps2 controls, so this was tough for me. i like the pc version better, but like one guy said, it lacks the ai and strategy. if you like kill frenzies get this. if you like kill frenzies + puzzles get half-life, which RuLeS!
Summary: The graphics are kinda bad... thats only becuase its some what old. even if the graphics are bad its is extemely realistic. one of the most impresive and gruesome things about this game is the massive amount of blood and gore and the realistic actions of your victoms.
Summary: To be honest I bought this game to alleviate boredom, and I liked the idea of being able to literally annhilate one's enemies to the point of severing body parts. Maybe I'm a bit twisted, but I find such ultra-violence to be amusing. To that end, this game does not disappoint.
