Summary: The game "SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals (No Headset) is a terrible game to play. Its impossible to beat. Even the best gamer couldn't beat it, its that hard to play. You can't even beat the 1st level unless you have a spell on you. Which can't even be ture.
One of the most frustrating games I have ever played ...

Summary: I love military shooter games. I have all the Ghost Recon's that are available on the PS2 and I have finished them all with minimal frustration. SOCOM has the same kind of formula with a squad based tactical shooter. You're in control of two teams of two SEALs going after terrorists in different environments: open ocean, snowy mountains, jungles, deserts, and caves. It all sounds great, but I can't find that much enjoyment out of this game.
Summary: On the bright side the environment's graphics are detailed and clear. Plus, the SEAL operators look great. The before and after mission movies are great ,as well. Thus, the 2 stars for the overall game's look. Problem #1 - the missions are all wrong. FAR to linear and you can't adapt anything.
Excerpt: I was recently given this game by a friend who was having a clear out. I am still undecided on the game as there are a lot of both good and bad points about the game which is why I've sat on the fence and gone for the 3 stars! The game is for Playstation 2 and is for players aged 16 and over. You will need 180kb free on your memory card to save this game.
Pros: Some good levels
Cons: Graphics and levels are too long without a save point
