Summary: SOCOM II U.S. Navy Seals Socom 2 is the greatest game ever made. Bring it back as a simple on-line playable download and you will make money. I have fought this fight for many years trying to bring Socom back to it's former glory but Sony seems to think we want COD style gameplay with a Socom name on the cover. Listen to the fans and bring Socom 2 back,, you know we are out here, just open your eyes.
Summary: I can tell that this game was carefully design because the body motion of the characters was detailed to the milisecond per square foot while the choices for landscapes make the experience real.
Summary: The game "SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals (No Headset) is a terrible game to play. Its impossible to beat. Even the best gamer couldn't beat it, its that hard to play. You can't even beat the 1st level unless you have a spell on you. Which can't even be ture.
Summary: I've played a lot of games on a lot of consoles and socom was the first game I played online. I've played this game for years..After being a big video gamer this was almost the only game I've played since its release. I couldn't get into any games after this .. Until recently after years I haven't been able to play a game single player since it's release, and there hasn't been any game that's matched the experience I had online.
"Fabulous Realistic Stealth Operations and Missions"!!
Shannon Stevens, Amazon
20 September 2010
Summary: First of all, I have to say this is definitely a great and very realistic game about SEAL team members having to go in to every mission using a variety of stealth operations, teamwork commands (which is really awesome) and just simply your own judgement in order to complete the missions successfully. I was totally amazed about the different teamwork command features.
Summary: This is probably the worst squad-based military game I have ever played. i bought it right after it came out and was immediately disappointed. The graphics are decent, but the AI is atrocious. Squadmates just stand up in the middle of a field and start pointing at the enemies. They do not hide when patrols are near you, nor do they cover you when you are doing recon on enemy positions. The worst thing that could ever happen in a video game of this type happened to me.
Summary: Overall, I recommend the SOCOM games. They are very well done. But when I read a review, I like to see the criticisms so I know what may make me decide weather or not to make the purchase. A few levels into this game and I am realizing I'm just not enjoying it the way I thoroughly enjoyed SOCOM I. I think these are great games but there are definitely some changes in II that are not for the better. cons: 1.
