Summary: The best online shooter ever created! Socom was shut down a couple of years ago but the community still plays on xlink! YES you CAN play this game online again! The community isn't nearly as big as it once was, as many people have moved on or went on to raise families and leave gaming behind.
Summary: Why don't they make games like this now? I don't want to just run around and shoot bad guys. Make me think. Make me plan. Force me to strategize. Punish me for making a wrong decision 3 hours ago. Call of Duty? It's fun but it's definitely NOT SOCOM!
Summary: I don't feel like writing a lengthy review so I'll just throw in some key points.. I have spent countless hours on S2, its called SOCRACK for a reason. The game was just too wonderfully addicting. I sold it a long time ago because SOCOM 3 came out, than CA etc..
Summary: At times the missions in the game can be frustrating, since you are not able to save your progress but have to wait till the end of every mission to do so, also your team mates are a bit dumb, and their are a few glitches in the game. Nevertheless, this game offers hours of fun.
Summary: 1. On mission 9 when I had to rescue a couple of embassy workers; I planted a C4 on the door in the parking lot and instead of my team mate running away from the C4, they ran towards the C4 and began to prone next to it. So my bravo team got blown up and Jester started shooting at me.
So you wannabe a SEAL from the comfort of your TV?

Summary: This is the best in the SOCOM series. Sure the grahics are a bit out dated today, and the AI when you first play isnt really much to talk about, but... as you play through the game, your enemies get smarter, your friends start relaying on you to do your share and then some.
Summary: Socom is without a doubt the best third person tactical shooter. I love this game if only if i could save in the middle of the game. That right, the dumbest thing any one can do to a game is not allowing a person to save in the middle of the game.
