  • Summary: SOCOM II: US NAVY SEALS This game instantaneously became the world's number one on-line console game when it was released, with the original SOCOM relegated waaaaaaay back down to number two. Yes, it is a shooter. However, unlike Armed and Dangerous (reviewed above), the more thought you put into your actions, the more successful you'll be. The flat-out-screaming-attack-sprint just won't cut it. In fact, get down and give me twenty!

  • Summary: I'll start by saying this game is not worth it unless you are able to play it online (Network adapter and broadband required) Great game. Although a few problems. I have met many people (Online in SOCOM II and spoke with them using the headset) who have X-Boxes and many other online ps2 games, and they have all said that SOCOM II is the best game out online on a console. Althought in my opinin XBox is a better console, the PS2 has much better games.

  • Summary: This is a good game, lets be honest this is not a great 1 player game neither is the first, but it is still good and fun. Online is where this game gets all of its fame. There are always people on and there will always be a chalenge. I bought this game basically because i play online games and this game awsome. So i suggest that if you want a good 1 player shooter, go with the medal of honor series or the bond games.

  • Summary: This game is really great there are many improvments on the graphics and you can also choose your mission ounce you have completed it. there is one thing that i found a problem though, sometimes your men get stuck behind doors or inside walls, this was also a problem that i found on the first game.

Ownage for the internet

  • Summary: First off, do not get this game for the single player. The online is the main atraction here. When you first start playing online you will be slapped all around the place.. but that is only because you are playing against some seasoned veterans that could have been playing this for 2 years already. But after about 3 hours of playing youll start to at least be a contender. Youll start to look for clans and have people offering you a place in their clan.

Great but...alot of glitches and downfalls...

  • Summary: Don't get me wrong, this game is one of the best military games EVER. Why didn't I say stealth?? Because its VERY hard to remain quiet and stealthy throughout the game. VERY HARD. You can't get within 6 feet of a guard without him spinning around and somehow nailing you between the eyes.

Blimey!

  • Summary: This is really rather impressive as sequels go. They have fixed just about everything that was wrong or frustrating about the first game, apparently by reading online message boards and seeing what their public were actually saying about it. Definitely the way to do it. They've also tickled up all the stuff that /did/ work last time around so it all really shines.
