  • Summary: SOCOM II: US NAVY SEALS This game instantaneously became the world's number one on-line console game when it was released, with the original SOCOM relegated waaaaaaay back down to number two. Yes, it is a shooter. However, unlike Armed and Dangerous (reviewed above), the more thought you put into your actions, the more successful you'll be. The flat-out-screaming-attack-sprint just won't cut it. In fact, get down and give me twenty!

  • Summary: I'll start by saying this game is not worth it unless you are able to play it online (Network adapter and broadband required) Great game. Although a few problems. I have met many people (Online in SOCOM II and spoke with them using the headset) who have X-Boxes and many other online ps2 games, and they have all said that SOCOM II is the best game out online on a console. Althought in my opinin XBox is a better console, the PS2 has much better games.

SOCOM as realistic as it gets

  • Summary: SOCOM II is a great game by all means. Who doesnt love an army game? But this tops it all. I personally don't have a online adaptor and it is still worth my money. Headbutting people with a rifle, ordering your team to take out an enemy, restraining foes... This game is awesome. 12 levels ( 3 levels in 4 stages) make it a long and difficult game. Yet it is still fun despite being challenging. All in all socom is a great buy for fans of all kinds of genres.

single player= 3 stars Online=5 stars

  • Summary: Lets be breef. Single player is ok id give it 3 stars because it is quite hard but you can do it and also commanding your team around can be difficult either by the toolbar or by the microphone. But Online is a different story id give it 5 stars for that, it is amazing you hav multiple maps to explore you have teams of up tp 8 vs.8 or less and even 2 vs.2. The grafics are gr8, but people can glitch and cheat. and some times lag occurs.

  • Summary: This is a good game, lets be honest this is not a great 1 player game neither is the first, but it is still good and fun. Online is where this game gets all of its fame. There are always people on and there will always be a chalenge. I bought this game basically because i play online games and this game awsome. So i suggest that if you want a good 1 player shooter, go with the medal of honor series or the bond games.

one kick butt excellent game

  • Summary: Its fun being able to run around shooting people with an M4 that has a scope and can change between single shot, 3 round burst, and full automatic.Thats what this games all about. From commanding a team of 4 men, to knife cutting people in the throat from behind, i think this one of the best games EVER. The graphics are totally awsome. They are probably some of the best graphics on a game. I've never played a game with graphics this good.
