Summary: Shame on you EA sports, Shame on you BIG, you have managed to destroy and bring shame upon the original PSone version. In EA sports BIG endevour to please SSX fans and snowmobile fans, they ruined it for both & everyone. I bought this game because of the early screen shots I have seen posted @ gamespot. Those pictures are not in this game, instead we get SSX like tracks (red lines and all) that are freakin weird (stupid).
If you liked "Sled Storm", you'll hate "Sled Storm"

Summary: If killing the golden goose were a video game, EA Big's version would have crazy, stylin' tricks, a boss hip-hop / metal soundtrack and lots of attitude... all of which typifies what a huge disappointment the PS2 version of "Sled Storm" is. Like "SSX Tricky", this is a game that overlooks solid gameplay in favor of production slickness and a contrived "coolness".
Excerpt: Everyone has heard of the SSX brand of games, along with Tony Hawk and Dave Mira, they have helped advance extreme sports by letting the masses sample what you could do on an skateboard, BMX bike or a snowboard. Since the EA Big team were behind the SSX series of games, one I seriously enjoyed, I assumed that Sled Storm could be a hidden gem that went unnoticed by gamers and that was why, after spotting it, I decided it was worth giving it a go.
