Summary: This game is awesome! First off, the missions are pretty hard! Now I am on the Mid-air Rendezvous (if you don't have this game you have no idea what I just said) and it is really hard! I don't like that you only have a choice of 3 aircraft: a bi-plane, an experimental, jet, and a military plane. Also, you have limited choice of customizations. The graphics on this game are horrible-there is no other way to say it!
Summary: Ha, I bought this after reading all the reviews and having this vision of myself piloting a plane through exotic lands. Well, if I got good at this game, I might be able to do all that. Getting through mission 1 has already driven me batty. Took me awhile to figure out that I need to use a slower plane, and that helped. It is a cool game, I have no doubt about that.
The most fun you'll ever have without blowing something up!

Summary: Any fan of aircraft should like this game. It has a good mix of flight simulator characteristics and arcade action. Sky Odyssey is by no means perfect, but it's pretty darn fun and the anticipation of unlocking new aircraft as you play is intoxicating. The customization features available for your airplanes (customizable color schemes, custom insignia, etc.) are pretty cool. Being able to control your aircraft from engine start up to engine shut down is nice.
Summary: If you like flight simulators, this game is for you. I loved the graphics, and the missions are challenging, but I found myself bored with the game pretty quickly, mainly because this just isn't my type of game. The missions in the game were challenging, but not overly difficult. Learning to fly and control the plane was much easier than I expected. Graphics were great, just what you would expect from a PS2.
Summary: Isn't it a wonder ho[w] fast computer games can evolve. I remember buying Pilot Wings on the nintendo 64 and being amazed, but now things have moved on we now hace Sky Odyssey. The concept is pretty much the same as Pilot Wings but with more modes of play. You can just fly around for ages for amusment which is something that i have been doing for a long time as i cant believe how good the graphics are.
Summary: I'll admit I had many doubts at first when I went to buy this game, but I had heard some good things about it so I decided I would give it a try. Well, my doubts went out the window after just an hour with this masterpiece of a game by Activision. Sky Odyssey is a flight simulation game just like Pilotwings 64 but done much better. It gives you many modes of play at first, such as target practice and landing pads. But the true fun and challenge is in the adventure mode.
Summary: Many of the games on the PS2 at this point have dazzled with eye popping graphics but have had lackuster gameplay. Sky Odyssey does just the opposite. The graphics in Sky Odyssey will not dazzle you. It seems like this could have been done easily on an N64. Although the graphics are not up to PS2 standards, the extremely fun gameplay will keep you coming back for more and more. Activision did a great job laying this game out.
Summary: This is the kind of flight simulator I have been looking for! If I wanted all the knobs, buttons and gizmos true flight simulators have, I'd just get my pilot's license. This is just a fun and simple game. No fuss or messy keystrokes to remember. You can just throw the CD in and begin flying with easy to use controls and gorgeous graphics. I was also surprised at this game's long playability.
Summary: I do like this game, unfortunately it arrived without the booklet & I do not remember it being advertised as such & I would have liked to have it, so if you are reading this & you have the booklet please send it on to me. Other than that it loads up & works fine & it is a good fun flying game with a nice realistic feel to the inflight motion of the aircraft.
