  • Excerpt: If there was a game released in 2004 that showed innovation, Singstar was it. The first UK-released karaoke-’em-up was well designed, well implemented and since it came with everything you needed to play a bit of multiplayer (barring a PS2 and a TV, of course) – it represented great value for money.

SingStar Party - PS2

Pocket Lint
3 December 2004
  • Conclusion: Overall, you're looking at the same thing as the original SingStar game in reality. There are a few small changes, but it's basically a new set of songs to sing, and just in time for Christmas. I'd point newcomers to the original as well, but check out the song listings and see what you fancy.
  • Pros: Great fun, good songs
  • Cons: Lack of multiplayer support

Singstar Party -

Futuregamez.net
21 November 2004
  • Summary: As a party game this is tremendous fun. The track listing on Singstar Party should have been much better, but at least you can import from the original. Still, this is an essential purchase for Karaoke fans.

  • Cons: lange Ladezeiten, schlichte Optik
