Expert Review

  • Excerpt: If there was a game released in 2004 that showed innovation, Singstar was it. The first UK-released karaoke-’em-up was well designed, well implemented and since it came with everything you needed to play a bit of multiplayer (barring a PS2 and a TV, of course) – it represented great value for money.

Singstar Party

29 December 2005
  • Excerpt: Good for a post-pub gaming session as well being a family-oriented venture, Sony London's Singstar proved popular with the masses as an innovative karaoke sim that judged and scored its players based on their pitch, rhythm and tone. At the time it was unique to the UK, but just several months later it's to be joined by the aptly named sequel, Singstar Party.

Singstar Party -

21 November 2004
  • Summary: As a party game this is tremendous fun. The track listing on Singstar Party should have been much better, but at least you can import from the original. Still, this is an essential purchase for Karaoke fans.

SingStar Party

Level 7
16 May 2005
  • Conclusion: Tydliga och stilrena menyer.
