Simpsons Road Rage

1 September 2003
  • Excerpt: They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If this is the case, then The Simpsons Road Rage has a great deal of respect for Sega’s arcade and Dreamcast hit, Crazy Taxi. It’s not the first game to borrow elements from other games and it won’t be the last. Crazy Taxi with characters from the Simpsons... Why not... This is a driving game with a heavy emphasis on fun and comedy. The story involves Mr.

The Simpsons: Road Rage Review

GameSpot
23 July 2003
  • Excerpt: You don't have to be a fan of The Simpsons TV show to appreciate how The Simpsons: Road Rage combines two of pop culture's most beloved facets: Simpsons characters and reckless driving. Unfortunately, the many flaws evident throughout the game significantly detract from what could have been an uproariously entertaining product. The Simpsons characters provide a taxi service for six neighborhoods in Springfield.

Simpson's Road Rage

Playstation Illustrated
31 December 2001
  • Excerpt: What happens if you take a brilliantly successful cartoon series, and bring it to the PS2 via the hip Toon Renderer technology? You get a mighty fine looking game, if you ask this Simpson's fan. If you don't ask this Simpson's fan, then Simpson's Road Rage still looks awesome! First and foremost, the characters had to look like they do in 'real life.' Radical took care of their end of the deal by making ALL of the characters look rip roaring good.

The Simpsons Road Rage Review

GameSpot
13 December 2001
  • Excerpt: Many episodes of The Simpsons have focused on automobile mayhem of some sort, whether it's the introduction of the Canyonero or Homer's infamous "La Cucaracha" car, so it's only natural to expect that someone would develop a driving game based on The Simpsons. Unfortunately, while The Simpsons is often entertaining and enjoyable, the GameCube version of The Simons Road Rage, which is no different than last year's PlayStation 2 and Xbox variants, is not.

The Next Level
12 December 2001
  • Excerpt: "Imitation is the highest form of flattery." Though cliché, its significance is all too common in the gaming industry. But let's face it, originality is an attribute that's gradually become quite rare in recent years. Initially, a software publisher introduces a groundbreaking title, a trend ensues, and others follow suit. The latest example - The Simpsons: Road Rage, emulating the game design formula featured in Sega's Crazy Taxi, albeit a few minor distinctions.

EA PLAY: The Simpsons: Road Rage Preview

TVG
11 September 2003
  • Excerpt: It was either a brave decision or somewhat foolish to show The Simpsons: Road Rage at EA’s recent party, EA PLAY. A quick look revealed the stand to be empty, a quick play brought back dreadful memories of how bad The Simpsons Wrestling was. <br /> <br /> In all honesty it doesn’t matter what we say, this title will still sell extremely well even if it doesn’t improve over the code shown to us, why’s that, because we all love The Simpsons.

Mroczny i przerażający świat dziecięcych koszmarów... Czy chcielibyście znaleźć się w jednym z Waszych koszmarów? Stawić czoło temu, czego się boicie? Chyba nie. Młody chłopiec o imieniu Cyprien, nazywany także "Cyp", niestety nie ma większego wyboru.
