  • Excerpt: Agetec delivers its latest installment to the Armored Core series, Silent Line, much to the delight of the die-hard Armored Core fans. But despite notable improvements, to most of us Armored Core: Silent Line is just another Armored Core title we didn't play. Click here to find out why.

  • Excerpt: Just like the best selling series in America, John Madden Football, each new year brings a new Armored Core release. And, like Madden Football, that certainly isn’t a bad thing. Each year, the series progresses with some fine-tuning, AI improvements, and minor additions while the heart of the gameplay stays the same.

12 September 2003
  • Excerpt: Publisher Agetec may want to get away from the "same-old, same-old" reviews the Armored Core series usually receives, but it's going to take more than a little switcheroo in the title to get the job done. Silent Line is the seventh entry in developer Fromsoft's long-running cult series, but there's really very little to differentiate it from the others previously released.

Silent Line: Armored Core Review

GameSpot
6 September 2003
  • Excerpt: A heavy amount of giant-robot customization and unwieldy controls have been the trademarks of the Armored Core series for the past few years, and the pattern continues with the latest game in the series, Silent Line: Armored Core. It's unfortunate, because the game does a reasonable job of encouraging you to build specialized mechs to compensate for the sheer variety and difficulty of the missions it features, which range from all-out assaults to escort and...

Silent Line : Armored Core

JeuxVideo.fr
7 September 2003
