Summary: OK! I love the Silent Hill games, 1, 2, 3, 4, They were all great games, But Komani has disappointed me in the last couple of Silent Hill games. Silent Hill (one) was great it was the best Horror game to come to date in 99' Silent Hill 2 was the best by far, the atmospheric music, the incredible story line, and going through the mind of James. Silent Hill 3, was another great game, figuring out Heathers past, when she ended up through the nightmare of Silent Hill.
Summary: since this is my first silent hill game, i would have to say it was decent. though its definitely not worth the $30. wait for the price to drop if you want to play it. personally, i thought this game was way too short. i probably finished it in 5 hours or less. the challenge was not anything special. the puzzles weren't hard at all, mostly things that a 12 year old could come up with. the storyline, however, is phenomenal.
Summary: This game is made to be a little more like real life, there are no items just 'magically' laying around the town. Instead you have to rely on running and hiding when creatures detect you in order to loose them. It makes the game that much more scary, knowing that you can't just kill things and start exploring again. All in all a good game for those looking for something different.

Shattered Memories is the series fifth outing on PS2, and released some nine years after Silent Hill 2, it appears one last concerted attempt to revitalise the series. This time it’s a reimagining of the classic PSOne original of 1999. And the term ‘reimagining’ is indeed more apt than ...
Pros: Beautiful visuals, the phone, endings/surroundings shaped by your decisions
Cons: Overly simplistic puzzles, short, deployment of scares limited to the Icy Nightmares
