Reviews and Problems with Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Fun game with interesting take on the ps1 originl.
18 September 2014
Summary: Cool take on the first game more detailed obviously then the first ps1 game. It has it's flaws as does every silent hill game but if you are a collector it is a must have as it was rare and came out with little to know fan fare.
Summary: Being a hardcore fan of the series, I was a little worried about the new direction that they were going and all the "reimagining" thing, and I was expecting to be just an "OK" game. The way I saw it, they were just trying to make a few easy bucks taking advantage of the original masterpiece that was Silent Hill on PSX. But I have to admit, after I started to play it, I just became hooked by the story and the psych feauture.
Summary: This game is made to be a little more like real life, there are no items just 'magically' laying around the town. Instead you have to rely on running and hiding when creatures detect you in order to loose them. It makes the game that much more scary, knowing that you can't just kill things and start exploring again. All in all a good game for those looking for something different.
Summary: Somewhat recaptured the the fear of old silent hill, the enviroments all felt spooky and threatening. The lack of combat in the game let it down, but the cut scene psychological evaluations made an for interesting addition. 4 out 5, I would have expected more if it were made for a later console than the ps2.
Summary: 'WOW' The original fantastic game of 'Silent Hill' being re-vamped and re-released on the PS3 with those fantastic graphics. WOW. Seemed like a dream come true. But what we got was a poor reproduction, poor graphics, annoyingly easy puzzles, and, worse of all, we were made to run AWAY from the monsters that inhabit the alternative world.
Summary: This new Silent Hill game is brilliant in a lot of ways. The first being that it has been released for the PS2, a lot of people have not yet upgraded to PS3. I found this a problem with Tomb Raider Underworld. I now DO have one, but have kept my PS2, as I love so many of the games for it, and now I am glad that I did.
Summary: Okay, first things first some background. I loved the first two SH games, thought 3 was good, 4 was abysmal, Origins was okay and Homecoming was drivel. Right, if you agree with that you should hopefully agree with what follows. Shattered Memories is a supposed reimagining of the first Silent Hill game but is really nothing of the sort. Apart from some names being carried over there is little resemblance to the first game in terms of story and locations.

Summary: Bestellung / Lieferung: Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr zügig (Mittwochabend bestellt und Freitagmittag angekommen).
