Summary: wow, where to begin... it's supposed to retell the first game but doesn't at all. it's totally different. instead of there being a really cool transition from the normal world to one of stinking heat, rust, blood, and barbed wire, it switches to a world of ice. so every time it switches it looks identical to the last time it switched.
Summary: Unfortunatedly we have been unable to play this game. The Playstation format for New Zealand & Austraia is Pal and these games are NTSC not compatable with our playstations. Very dissapointing for the dissabled young chap that I purchased this game for.
Summary: I was so exited when i first read they were gonna "remake" Silent Hill 1.. but exept for the char. names, and the fact that the game location is Silent Hill town.. this game has nothing to do at all with a "Silent Hill" game. No horror effect, no riddles (harder than a 1yo could solve), no fun at all.. I played the whole game because i was hoping that this was a long intro to the actual game..but no that WAS the whole game..
Summary: Let me first start by explaining how Shattered Memories is played. First of all, unlike previous silent hill games, there is no inventory. Why? Because you will never have to carry anything for further than two rooms, and you will never need to carry more than one item at a time. This is mainly due to the fact that there are no puzzles.
Summary: I love the Silent Hill games. The first one was my reason to get a playstation. I know THIS game was created with Wii in mind and was pretty much an after thought for the PS2. It's just bad. You can't defend yourself, no weapons and the graphics as poor compared to 3 or 4. I stopped playing it, no fun not even the fear. Perhaps the Wii version with " Flashlight controller " would be good if you under 18 or over 50 but not the Hill I know.
