Too much fighting and not enough to keep the player engaged

Excerpt: Shrek the Third is a spn-off playstation2 game which loosely follows the plot of the film and the player follows Shrek, Fiona etc through various platform levels and in this reviewers opinion a very poor game. We have 2 young boys (2 and 3) who loved playing Shrek2 on the PS2, so after completing that game we bought Shrek3 via a well known auction website expecting more interactive games.
Excerpt: I bought this for my nine year old but it is too childish even for him. At least my four year old is getting some use of it. This is a role playing game where you swap characters and can be Shrek, Puss, Fiona and others depending on the area you are in. Different characters have different abilities. There is a bit of fighting but it is basically collecting different items, coins, mugs, wooden legs etc. by bashing a few boxes and opening a couple of doors.
Summary: The graphics and storytelling is very good but this game is over WAY too quickly!! The levels are really easy and all you really do is fight, even a young child would get bored of this game! Not worth paying all that money for it.
Summary: It is a good game but you will get through it in a day and plus there is to much fighting. all you do is fight. also not like shrek 2 the video game you can't do a level with another person which really annoyed me!. If you like challenging games this will disapoint you as i finished it in less than a day, it took me 2 hours and thats it. And the people you fight in the game are really annoying and weak.
