Summary: Never really knew what this franchise was until 2013 but now im glad I do now. Before I got into this series I looked Square for my rpg needs (final fantasy etc.) But I decided to give this a shot because I was tired of seeing square as the rpg god, this game & series in general, has made me question who is the real god of rpgs.
Summary: This is one great game. I really got into it! The whole world was very creative. The bosses provided a perfect challenge and goin up against Dante was unexpected but cool all the same. This game basically surprises you at every turn and i love that bout it!
Summary: I bought this game since I heard good things about it, and I'm happy I did. Most would be turned away from the beginning, but grit through that and you've got a very unique game with a strange atmosphere. Gameplay is pretty good, and character design is cool as well. I can't recommend this as highly as Persona 3 or 4, but this game is still really good, just gotta make it through the intro/hospital part before really getting into the game.
Summary: It has been years since I've played a game like this. This uses some old school RPG elements, which I love. I don't really like RPGs today, so I consider myself lucky to find this game. I would definitley recommend playing this game.
Summary: SMT Nocturne is definitely among one of the best SMT games to date and in my opinion contains most of Kazuma Kaneko's and Shoji Meguro's best works. What makes this game stand out in the SMT series the most is its dark atmosphere and story ( featuring Dante from Devil May Cry doesn't hurt either). Even though this is a turn-based JRPG, Nocturne will pose a challenge and requires the player to strategize and be prepared for the worst of situations.
Summary: Shin megami tensei games are like a darker version of Pokémon games geared for older fans of the collect monsters genre. I highly recommend getting into these games if you are an older fan of Pokémon as they are all rated M.
