Excerpt: A long standing role playing series in Japan, MegaTen has finally seen some light here in the States. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is the first release this side of the seas of the occult demonism RPG. With more pentagrams and signs of the occult than your local Hot Topic, SMT is a fresh twist on classic gaming.
Excerpt: If you?re looking for a good RPG with some innovative elements and mature game-play, then look no further than Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Nocturne will deliver an excellent experience that stays true to the classic Japanese console RPGs that many of us grew up on. At its heart, Nocturne is a turn-based RPG set in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo. The game takes all the classic RPG elements, improves on them and even adds some interesting and unique twists.
Conclusion: There simply isn’t much more to add here. You’ll have to trust your judgment. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is an excellent game. But the fact is, this game will frustrate even the most skilled players out there. Prepare to see the "Game Over" screen often, very often. If you don’t fear a challenge, then by all means get this game.
