Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarding
10 September 2004
Summary: Here is how I rated this game: Fun: 4 stars. I don't play the game on one player mode, but when I'm playing with a friend it's a lot of fun! There are different ways you can compete, and you can teach each other cool combos. Also, I think it's cool that you can create your own boarder. You get to choose your boarders appearence, board choices, and skills, then save him/her to play with in the game. Educational Value: 3 stars.
Excerpt: Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder. Playstation 2 Being a big fan of snowboarding, I have purchased and played many snowboarding games, one of the most enjoyable ones for me is Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder on the Playstation 2. Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder comes in a normal Playstation 2 box, the size of a DVD case, contained inside the box is a game disc along with an instruction manual for the game.
Summary: I always end up watching The Weakest Link when I'm having dinner, so I've grown quite fond of it. Naturally, the PS2 game was next on the list. After trying it a few times I found it to be very loyal, quite realistic and unfortunately I found quite a few patches in my own general knowledge, but less about that!
Excerpt: Shaun Palmer! No, please don?t get out of your seat and run around in a fit of hysterics, I want you to read my review. And yes, I am reviewing a game that most people wouldn?t touch with a 10ft barge pole. Oh how wrong they are! I will start by acknowledging the bad publicity that this game got. Although the little red box on the front of the case clearly states that in PSW Shaun Palmer got an 8/10 and was described as ?Highly Addictive?, this wasn?
Excerpt: Need to feel the wind in your hair? Desperate to get out on the slopes and grab some air time? Want to show the world just how damned good you are on a Snowboard? Well, then you’re going to need one of two things. An airline ticket to Switzerland along with a load of Snowboarding gear or a copy of Shaun Palmer’s Pro Snowboarder from Activision.
Summary: I hired the PSone version of this game which although good was not a patch on this version. Its has great pace is great fun in single mode you really feel like your in the studio, multi player is even better but you have to hand controllers around the room as a multi-tap does not work on this game this is serious flaw and stops it from getting 5 stars. Still well worth buying if your a fan of the show or like board games. Even you mum could play this and enjoy it.
Summary: This game will be the cause of more Police call outs on Christmas Day then anything else. Unlike other quiz games, this reflects the TV programmes reliance on people's devious side. Voting off Uncle Jim after he's had too much port could turn him into an axe wielding fiend, whilst marriages will be wrecked when you get to vote off the first contestant. In all, essential ingrediants for a merry yuletide.
Summary: This game is great. From the creators of the Tony Hawk series, this game is bound to be a hit. It combines killer gameplay with stunning, jaw dropping graphics. Obviously, no pain has been spared, no stone left unturned with this game. Many people think it's just another snowboarding game, but it is truly different, not just simple coures but 10 FULL courses each needing their own different kind of skill. Play as Palmer or one of 9 other pro's.
