Despite the removal of Sonic from the title and lead role, Shadow very much remains a Sonic game, sure it has some refreshing features, but its family ties are obvious to that of the hedgehog with attitude. If you are a fan of the blue speedster then you’ll find plenty to love here, and in the case of Sonic fans that’s normally an extreme amount of speed that would leave even a Ferrari Enzo standing. Shadow shoots for minor redemption with motion blur effects and the psychedelic blowouts the player will experience in any of the circuit-themed levels, but this doesn’t change the fact that an identical game could have been produced on a seven year old piece of hardware. Clipping, a general lack of detail, low polygon count—Shadow could use more than one coat of silver polish in the graphical department. Read more

Sega has decided to give Sonic’s arch nemesis, Shadow, his own game. In addition to this, for reasons beyond my comprehension, they decided to give him guns. It sounds preposterous, and you might ask yourself the question: Why would he need guns? The answer to this question, I cannot answer, considering the guns are essentially useless. You would actually do well to avoid the guns in the game, or take my humble advice, and avoid the game altogether. Read more

Well the only problem you get in this game is the start where you get confused with the character since he plays good guy and bad guy at the same time. Actually in the game, hedgehog is a mysterious character that is yet to unveil his mission whether he is there to protect or destroy. But the thing is this; the choice you make actually determines the future of hedgehog. Read more

Playing as the villain from a series of video games is always fun, and Shadow is no different. With a huge selection of weapons and vehicles in the different level, you can either plough through with a machine gun, or you can race through the level on your own two feet, or in a G.U.N Walker. One of the game's key features is the two player mode. You can play as two different coloured versions of Shadow, or one of the four robot versions, each with an attached weapon. Read more
