Summary: First off, this is an incredible game! It's extremely challenging, and very, very fun. And the storyline makes perfect sense. This is a very challenging game, and it's very fun to just fly around and explore in a mission, and shoot down those Nazis! It's cool because you're an American pilot, who gets transferred to fly with the RAF behind enemy lines to help fight the Germans.
Summary: I'm a big fan of just about any flight sim games and decided to give this one a try. The first thing I noticed was that you have no way of putting your aircraft through a full roll in open flight. The story line of the game is good and the missions can definitely offer a challenge. In addition to the regular missions there are a number of "challenges" which are a lot of fun.
Summary: This is The best fighter game since Jane's WWII fighters. It has VS and instant action so you never get tired of it.But I would be careful if you are buying it for a kid because there are a few bad wordes on the Campagin. But beside that it is awsome it has a very long campagin that is very fun and all the levels are very different which beats the heck of most fighter games where you do the very same thing over and over you can fly every thing from P-38s to Dauntlas dive...
Summary: this game includes a ww2 type storyline over in europe and germany and japan and the pacific, it includes all the older type of planes.it also has sounds of the propellers running and the machine guns r real sounds of a true gun,it is always keeping u on ur toes and making sure ur saving ur back and ur ppls back,it has a versus, and coop.
Summary: I thought this was an excellent game, good story line. It isn't Microsoft Flight Simulator, but for PS2 the control of the plane is excellent. It is a lot of fun to play. A game worth putting in your collection, it's in mine.
Summary: It's an overall fun game, but it could be better if it had more fun, more multiplayer rounds. I put four stars on fun because I thought the levels could be a little shorter. I also thought it could be easier than what it is. Like the clash at Coral Sea could have more fighters to protect the torpedo and divebomber planes.
Summary: The graphics are good for a game that was made in 2003 or 2004. If you saw this game at Blockbuster and thought of renting it, but didn't, you should go back and do so. You can fly a number of planes, and they are all cool, especially the Spitfire. One good about this game is the circle that appears around your enemies. This saves you the trouble of findng them. All you have to do is follow the arrows and fire when the enemy is in your sights.
Summary: I stumbled on to this title looking at reviews for "Heroes Of The Pacific" another PS2 title and after reading some of the reviews, their were a several few who also recomended "Secret Weapons over Normandy" so I purchased a copy and needless to say, I think this game is great, it may not be the flight sim, but it is great fun, though the game is no walk in the park, once you get the hang of the controls then the game does take on a whole new meaning, the missions...
