The game revolves around the adventures of Clank on trying to prove his friend’s innocence over the theft of a priceless jewel known as the "Eye of Infinity" that was stolen by a scientist who uses it as a refractor for a massive laser system perfectly poised to destroy every planet in the galaxy. The game has a rating of ESRB: E10+ and PEGI: 7+ and played on the UMD and DVD-ROM media.
Secret Agent Clank is part of the Rachet & Clank series. The game uses the same engine from the Ratchet & Clank adventure. This game focuses on the adventures of robot sidekick Clank and his secret alter-ego, Secret Agent Clank, in his adventure to prove his friend’s (Ratchet) innocence as he is framed for a crime that he didn’t commit. Through out the game Clank learns and acquires new abilities, and gain access to new weapons, such as bow tie boomerangs, cuff link bombs as well as jet boots. In this game, players get to play Clank as a stand alone full on action character with weapons and gadgets of his own. Also featured are interactive cut scenes where the player must press a sequence of buttons correctly to sneak through an area undetected. The game also features Giant Clank, a monster-sized fighting machine that Clank transforms into. Secret Agent Clank also allows players to assume gameplay through both Captain Qwark and Ratchet. Qwark’s gameplay is more action based while Ratchet’s segments emulate previous games in the series. Secret Agent Clank features six weapons in Clank’s inventory. These include the Tie-a-Rang, Cuff Link Bombs, Tanglevine Carnation, Blowtorch Briefcase, Thunderstorm Umbrella, and Holo-Knuckles. The game also allows player to gain access to a speedboat, sports car, snowboard and other vehicles to use in their adventure to prove Ratchet’s innocence. Similar to the weapons-leveling system in traditional Ratchet & Clank games, the game also features ability to upgrade Clank’s "Clank-Fu" fighting moves and weapons. The player can learn new techniques, as well as various finishing moves. The gameplay styles range from action to puzzle solving.
See lessEveryone's favorite robotic sidekick is starring in his very own adventure (no, not Bender!) Clank takes the forefront in Secret Agent Clank . Known for their Pixar approach to game making, the Ratchet and Clank series has always walked the line between being a game for kids while still enjoyable to adults. It seems Secret Agent Clank has changed allegiance and targeted just the kiddies in this PSP to PS2 port of a decent spy game. First, Secret Agent Clank does not look... Read more

Secret Agent Clank first appeared on the PSP, and unfortunately it shows. The graphics are pretty crude and grainy, and I'm not comparing them to those of PS3 games either. The game is rather ugly for a PS2 game, paling in comparison to games like God of War or the other Ratchet & Clank games available on the system. Also, the game insisted on playing with vertical bars on both sides of the widescreen monitor used while playtesting the game. There was an in-game option... Read more
