Its ok, but may disappoint.
26 December 2011
Summary: If you're NOT a fan of the movie, it probably won't be something you'll vastly enjoy. You may still get a little bit of fun out of the game though. It isn't all bad.. However, it is probably the second most disappointing game I (personally) have ever played.. That only being because I had extremely high expectations of this game. GTA SA type expectations. I had to run over a guy 5 times at full speed before I found out I couldn't kill peds.
Summary: Ever since the Mario and Sonic era, my favorite video games have been Sandbox games. Outside of the Smackdown vs Raw series, sandbox games are all that I play. Saint's Row and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (but not Grand Theft Auto IV, at all!) are some of my favorites. It's the closest thing video games have come to to virtual reality. Living in another world, doing things you could never get away with in real life.
Summary: This game is a respectable use of the Scarface license. If you have always wanted to have your enemies "Say hello to your little friend" then this game is for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a lot of innovation and a unique game play experience... you won't find quite so much here. While I must say there were enough unique elements in this game to hold my interest, I couldn't help getting the feeling I was playing just another Grand Theft Auto.
Summary: It is just like GTA without the fun. Following is simple story line of rags to riches it is just like the Grand Thief Auto series. If you want a GTA style game stick to the original GTA or if you have a 360 get Crackdown. With Tony Montana shouting out the same old phrases everytime he got into a fight you get sick of his voice quickly. By the end of the game you want to take Tony and swim into the ocean until a shark eats you.
Summary: "Scarface" should have been an excellent game and in some respects, it is. In other respects, it has quite a few shortcomings. The game is very similar to "Godfather" and "GTA" in the controls, look and overall feel to the game. The storyline picks up as a sequel to the movie and you play as Tony Montana, working your way back up the food chain and re-establishing yourself as drug lord.
Summary: I bought this game the day it came out. I had to have it. Boy was I disappointed. I have to say at first it was sick. I thought the storyline was really cool because I admire them creators trying something new. The first level was awesome, where you start out in Tony's mansion blasting your way to escape. Then the drug dealing and everything came in. Well, I stopped going so hard at this game only after a few hours of playing.
Summary: The graphics are wicked the mission are challenging and this game would easily get 5 stars if you could jump. THERE'S NO JUMP BUTTON!! It's so annoying and frustrating. You have to detour so often because it won't let you climb up a half inch ledge. You get so angry that you lose sight of how great the rest of Scarface is. I don't know what they were thinking.
