not bad, not great

Jacob Snyder, Amazon

  • Summary: There's a lot of mixed reviews on here, I'm going to disagree with the person who wrote Sierra shouldn't be labelled bad because they made the Hulk and ultimate destruction. Those games are kiddy games and it's not too hard to please children. But if you're like me and you like Grand Theft and The Godfather, you'll be disappointed in Scarface. I expected it to be awesome that those games are. The graphics are pretty weak in this game and the objectives are farely bland.

Make it a Rental

  • Summary: I wouldn't be surprised if it was an oversight and they did forget to add a jump button. Sierra games isn't exactly known for producing gems. Here's a few games made by the "great" folks at sierra. Leisure Suit Larry, Flying Toaster, Miami Vice and the list goes on like this. I didn't expect much out of this game because I know the company that made it is very low budget but I was hoping for a little bit better.

Don't believe the hype

  • Summary: As a huge fan of the GTA series, I was looking forward to Scarface. I can't tell you how disappointed I was after finally playing the game. The graphical content (on the PC version) looks like it was created 6-7 years ago - low res textures, blocky models, etc - even when you max out all whopping 5 settings they provide. The controls are far from smooth, and the action/animations look rigid and unnatural.
