Summary: Scaler is a platforming game about a young boy who gets turned into a lizard. You start with two simple attacks--a tongue lick reminiscent somewhat of Yoshi's licking ability in the Mario games, and a scratch attack. As you progress through the game, you learn new transformations that change the gameplay on certain levels.
Summary: I got this game a looong time ago, I was probably about fourteen or thirteen. I never enjoyed it. It was cheesy, childish, but also irritating. The story was meant for someone half my age, but there were levels that I had trouble, and still have trouble getting through, as they are winding, lack direction and purpose, and all look alike to me. Everything is very repetitive.
Summary: Hello, this is the son of the owner of this account. I rented this game when I was like, 10, or somthin',(That rhymes)and I am now 13. This game is probably one of the best I've ever played! Scaler, a fighter for lizard freedom rights, is thrown into a world that you wouldn't even dream in your dreams, and is changed into the spieces he fights for. Humor rating is off the charts, and the actual storyline is good too! I really hope you buy this game.

Summary: I bought Scaler yesterday for $20 because I missed the jovial nature of platformers. Due to the influx of games that require re-mapped button schemes and "thinking", I decided to give my brain and stealth tendencies a rest and pick this one up. FIRST OFF, I played this for 3 hours and got to the third level. The game has 10 in all folks!!!! and honestly, I wasn't really trying that hard.
Summary: I'm 13 and this game entertains me. It's not necessarlily the best, like the Ratchet and Clank series. This game would be good for younger audiences like children 6 to 9. Tak and the Power of Juju and Tak 2: the Staff of Dreams video games are just like this game. I would recommend all 3 of these games to younger game players.
Excerpt: Scaler Scaler is a multi coloured platform video game released by Take-Two Interactive and Global Star Software back in 2004 and the game was released for Xbox, GameCube and of course the PS2. Scaler is a platform game that does resemble that of Spyro The Dragon, Croc and even Crash Bandicoot. In Scaler you play as a shape shifting Chameleon named Scaler. The game starts with a wise and very intelligent 12 year old boy called Bobby Jenkins.
Summary: i bought this game on a complete whim. i'd never even heard of it until i saw it in a shop. this game is really fun to play and is bursting with humour. it borrows elements from other platformers like ratchet and clank, jak and daxter, spyro and sly raccoon, so if you are fans of those games i highly recommend this one.
Summary: Scaler is most unusual game where you'll have to save the world's lizards! You become "Scaler" Johnson, a regular guy whose neighbor is a mad scientist. When the evil neighbor tries to take over the world by mutating his lizards into a monster army, you'll stop by becoming a lizard yourself. Shapeshift in different lizard shapes as you face killer lizard-mutants to save the world!
