Summary: If you've played the Dynasty Warriors series, this game will feel incredibly familiar. They probably should have called it Dynasty Warriors: Japan or something. Anywho, the character development system has been improved as well as some of the quams people had with the preceeding Dynasty Warrior games. Defeating officers earns you experience points that are put towards increasing your characters stats.
Summary: After buying this game a week ago, I've been playing it steadily since. Having played Dynasty Warriors 2, 3,& 4 by Koei, I'm probably not the most unbiased person to review this new Warriors game that takes place in Japan during their own "Warring States" period. That being said, this is one of the best Ps2 games I've played in a long while. First of all, this is a great 2-player co-op game.
Summary: Compared to the original dynasty warriors series, this game feels more like playing mario bros to me. Furthermore, the occasional "explore a castle" scenarios are a big turn off as it's merely a mouse running the maze game. Other than the gameplay itself, the design of the characters are downright fatuous.. Takeda Shingen fights his enemies with a fan while his katana hangs loosely on his belt.
Summary: This game was sweet I bought it right when it came out and so far its not dissapointing from what I played. Anyone that is a dynasty warrior fan will love this game and should buy it. The story is kind of dull though compared to other titles made by koei but I still think it is a worthy title to add to your Ps2 collection. The graphics are pretty good and load times arent too bad unless you have the hdd then the load times are fricken fast and the game is even cooler.
Summary: Samuari Warriors is a new kind of fighting game. This game is a excellent fighting game because it has a lot of weapons that the samuari used. It has a lot of interesting weapons. It is a four in a half because it isn't a five because it wasn't that great has it seemed, but it was still a great game but it isn't a excellent game. The game had a lot of action for the buyer a lot of action.
Excerpt: "where to start, the bads are the graphics, but it is quite old now so , i suppose they are adaquate . Also, the jumbled up story which is far from real events . But they are still fun. i like the leveling system, but i dont like the fact of the inacuarate maxing out stats, (meaning stats do not always get to be their best. But if unhappy, you could always reset their stats. the music is good, it reflects what is happening in a level, like when ...
Summary: For any fan of this or the Dynasty Warriors series, Empires is always an interesting addition to the collection. Samurai Warriors 2: Empires is not all that different from Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires. You can execute officers, order officers around, officers die of old age, there are tactics to unlock and you can treat the peasants like dirt or suck up to them so they'll help you in battle.
Excerpt: "the samurai warriors game is from the original dynasty warriors series and improves on it gameplay You play a famous samurai warrior in the 16th century as you fight between feudal lord who have there own warriors or ninjas, you can fight with your side to see who wins in this great historic event. as before in the dynasty warriors games the controls are pretty much the same but with some nice added features like the castle siege missions are ...
