Summary: Lets just say this game is pretty amazing. If you liked Dynasty Warriors you'll love this game. It combines all of the great features of previous games with some new ones. You can play this game for literally hours on end and STILL have stuff to accomplish. If you're a fan of hack and slash games this is the game for you. You fight through hordes of enemy troops while still staying true to traditional Japanese culture.
Summary: I would recommend this game highly to all those interested in Koei's games. I myself started on Koei's Dynasty Warriors 3 as part of a Demo Disc, I love the characters, the character development, usage capability and not to mention the hours of fun and historical implementation of the Three Kingdoms Era in Dynasty Warriors and the Warring States Period in Samurai Warriors.
Summary: it was bought for a minor who normally would be heard before seen, since he has got this new game he plays it quite a lot, which gives us older types a bit of peace and quiet, i think you could say no complaints
Summary: I came to this one having played DW3, 3XL, 4, 4XL, 4E, 5, 5E, 6, 6E SW, SWXL, WO2 so I see myself as a somewhat long-standing series fan. For those who've never played any of these games the basis is that you basically take control of a famous warrior, go a battlefield and unleash your awesome power on the enemy army.
Summary: This game was fantastic to play I had never heard of Koei until i found this game. The game takes place in 1500s Japan and as a Samurai you must fight the powerful warlords and their massive armies to bring peace to the people of Japan. Only a handfull of characters are unlocked at fist but as u progress through the game more become available to you. There are 26 playable characters in total. Samurai warriors 2 is one of the best video games I have ever played.
Excerpt: "...tedious sugoroku mode - or samurai monopoly, and the fact okuni and ranmaru do not have story modes, and that goemon and kunoichi were removed the story modes are in depth and you get the feeling you are involved, and the game is worth the money due to its large gameplay basis. Finally, the story mode is more accurate to the actual history unlike the first samurai warriors. i recommend to all potential buyers, i bought it £15 brand new. ...
Pros: similar to actual events, graphics, music, personalities , in depth stories
Summary: If you have played samurai warriors 1 then you kinda know what it is like, except that there are lots of niggly little things taken out and altered to make it flow better and this is the reason why it is one of the best of Koei's warriors series. I would like you to understand that this review does not apply to the 360 version, if i was reviewing that then this game really does lose a lot of value.
