Summary: Not much different from the previous Samurai Warriors but the fact that there are 4 new characters and more things to do (You do need the original Samurai Warriors game). The only part that got my attention at first was the part where you could continue to level up your characters, BUT there's a condition. The condition is that you need to get enough points to unlock these bonuses and by the time you finish unlocking them it would take forever.
Summary: Much like the rest of the series, Samurai Warriors is a game where 3 armies are waging war for control. Same story different day basically. The game isnt all that bad, if you want to hack thousands of guys to the ground as a feudal samurai bad ass. Dont expect much more out of this title, but there are some other things to do to keep you pre occupied for a couple of hours while you work your way to to the top of the score board.
Summary: Best way to describe this is a 'filling', though is less painful and not as dreading as the dentist XD revealing the grand battle between the Imagawa and the Oda at Okehazama and introducing Gracia and my personal favourite, Motochika Chosokabe
Summary: Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends (PS2) This is one of the best game i have played this year. I have not gone into the Story Mode as the "new Mercenary Mode" is FUN". There are many levels to play in this mode and if you lose at a level you do not need to start from the begining again.
Summary: Koei have got into the habit of bringing out silly expansions for most of their warriors games, and personally I find that most of them lack any real content. I didn't even bother with the Dynasty Warriors 5 Expansions, as they added practically nothing to the game. I would say that "Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme legends" surpassed my expectations, and gave me exactly what I wanted. The game holds many few features, and will add hours & hours of extra gameplay.
