One of my favorite games for PS2

Alex, Amazon
9 May 2014
  • Summary: This was one of the first games I bought for my PS2 years ago and I decided to buy it again for my new system to relive those memories. I love Greek mythology and this utilized my favorite Greek myths to create a wonderful and engaging story with well-executed action.

Beautiful level designs

Chris H, Amazon
20 November 2012
  • Summary: This is one of the most artistically beautiful game to come to the PS2. Level designs are gorgeous and the best looking bosses I can remember. Battle system is no slouch either. You'll have fun with this. Only four stars cause the voice acting was pretty stupid in my opinion. Other than that play it!

Rygar for the PS2

Dark Link, Amazon
28 August 2012
  • Summary: I recieved the game this morning, and I have been playing it on and off. It has the zelda OoT map setup, with the logo, and the combat system seems like a well made mix between God of War and Devil May Cry. no complaints so far on it.

Rygar Returns

-- "--", Amazon
20 September 2004
  • Summary: "Rygar: The Legendary Adventure," sequel to the classic Nintendo side-scroller, "Rygar," casts you as, well, Rygar (in at least one of his aliases), and trades its earlier setting for one that is supposedly based on Greek mythology - though elements of Greek and Roman mythologies are used, albeit inaccurately, during the course of the game.

Cool Game...

Jake McKay "sumterseller", Amazon
24 August 2004
  • Summary: Kinda short. I rented it and solved in 6 1/2 hours. Glad I didn't pay full price for it! ;) Overall, it reminded me of Zelda the Wind Waker; except, in this game, you only play in the boss areas. There's not much puzzle solving, searching, or any extended side quests. It's a straight forward smash and run game. Not worth buying, but worth playing.

Pretty solid adventure game

Blah, Amazon
14 June 2004
  • Summary: To be honest, when I picked this up, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'm not a huge fan of greek mythology, but it isn't like I think it's awful, either. Anyway, I loved the fact that nearly everything was interactive, that is to say, destructible. If it isn't nailed down, it's very likely you can destroy it. This game isn't a one-trick-pony, though. The combat presents itself in three different styles that become available as you progress through the game.

Pretty easy but some great visual effects.

Blah, Amazon
20 May 2004
  • Summary: Visually, this is probably the best game on the PS2 and that alone makes it worthwhile. Like most other PS@ games it suffers from the fact that it is just too short and too easy. Dying is a feat is this game. Gameplay is not too dificult and gmaeplay is easy to master but stlll pretty fun if you get caught up in the fanatsy world. Another problem is that the viewpoint sometimes changes too quickly whic can be a little annoying.
