Summary: Sometimes I wonder about video game reviews. This is definitely one of those times. Maybe it's just me, but this game was horrible. People say it was fun, it was cool, and it looked great. And it might have been all those things....but it wasn't enjoyable. In fact, it was hardly understandable. There was very little story to the actual game, and when it does rear it's ugly head, it's only strength is the graphics.
Summary: Rygar the Legendary Adventure is a very fun game with beautiful graphics and a vast variety of attacks, but unfortunately, those are the only real positives. First of all, the game is just way too short. It can take under four hours to beat it. Because of that some of the adventure elements don't really fit in.
Summary: I first tried my hands on Rygar in a shop's preview machine and I was captivated with the idea of swinging the Diskarmor around (it's a little shield with an attached cable). However, it all turned into a gamer's nightmare once I bought the game and started playing in earnest. The control is sluggish, manoeuverability nonexistent, and storyline dull. The whole storyline is full of cliches..
