One of my favorite games for PS2

Alex, Amazon
9 May 2014
  • Summary: This was one of the first games I bought for my PS2 years ago and I decided to buy it again for my new system to relive those memories. I love Greek mythology and this utilized my favorite Greek myths to create a wonderful and engaging story with well-executed action.

Fun but too challenging

22 September 2013
  • Summary: I was a fan of the old Rygar game so I gave this one a shot. It was fun for a short period of time but I got bored with it because it was too frustratingly hard at a boss fight early on.

Excellent

  • Summary: Game was received on time and in good packaging. Rygar was a better game than this sequel IMO, though not a bad game with little replay-ability.

Beautiful level designs

Chris H, Amazon
20 November 2012
  • Summary: This is one of the most artistically beautiful game to come to the PS2. Level designs are gorgeous and the best looking bosses I can remember. Battle system is no slouch either. You'll have fun with this. Only four stars cause the voice acting was pretty stupid in my opinion. Other than that play it!

Rygar for the PS2

Dark Link, Amazon
28 August 2012
  • Summary: I recieved the game this morning, and I have been playing it on and off. It has the zelda OoT map setup, with the logo, and the combat system seems like a well made mix between God of War and Devil May Cry. no complaints so far on it.

Great fun

  • Summary: It's been years since this game came out and I now own a ps3 and am exploring the world of hd gaming but I always like to come back to the older generation games. I'm not sure how many times I've bought and sold this game over the years buts its been quiet a bit. I just recently bought it.. again for 5 bucks at the local game stop, played it through and I must say, every time I play this game I just have so much fun.

This game BITES!

carl71 "Carl", Amazon
11 September 2009
  • Summary: It has nice visuals. There - got the one good thing out of the way. Bad Voices sound cheesy. No double high jump. Enemies can hit you while you're down/stunned... then hit you again while you try to recover ... then hit you again while you try to recover ... then hit you again while you try to recover ... then hit you again while you try ............. No camera control. Convoluted story line. Lame bosses. Few enemies. The enemies that are there are not varied. My advice?

  • Summary: this game is horrible. even the cheesiest voice acting from resident evil one was at least amusing. this makes me want to punch someone in the face. i feel like i was robed, and am glad that i bought it used. i really liked the old one, but this new one has firmly peed on its grave.

A joke?

JLBonnick, Amazon
19 April 2008
  • Summary: Sometimes I wonder about video game reviews. This is definitely one of those times. Maybe it's just me, but this game was horrible. People say it was fun, it was cool, and it looked great. And it might have been all those things....but it wasn't enjoyable. In fact, it was hardly understandable. There was very little story to the actual game, and when it does rear it's ugly head, it's only strength is the graphics.
