Summary: Listen I don't buy things unless I am 100% satisfied with them and if I'm not I send them back. With that said when I bought this game I couldn't put it down, I'd dream about it. The level design for a PS2 game were flawless. This is a true survivor game in ever sense of the word. You start off in your chambers really unaware of what's going on when you realize your ship has been attacked by aliens and you are the only one left on the ship. The story is great!
Summary: This game, poorly reviewed as I have seen before, is so much fun and a game you can play over 3 times. Great videos, gameplay, and the music is the best. Breaking Benjamin soundtracks and other spooky music to keep you in the mood. Very recommended for everyone. PS2 though is better than the xbox game.
Summary: This game may have an awkward name since running away from "The Race" in the game is NOT a good idea. They're much faster then you. Maybe the Scouts if you've got good skills but Cutters and Brutes is another story. But anyway, this game has excellent voice acting, an original storyline, great graphics and environments, and even cooler music. Both the suspenseful and the rock music produced by Breakin Benjamin's CD "Saturate".
Summary: This game is absolutely amazing. It is rare to come across a good and so thoroughly developed game of the science fiction genre. This is no corny Edd Woods reminescent walk in the park with crappy aliens and even crappier plot. The voicing talent makes the game so much more real, as does the eerie lighting, fog effects, and the enviroment responsive sounds. Even though the name may seem a little... ok, really bad, you can't judge the game by it.
Summary: In Run Like Hell you receive live transmission messages from people who are still struggling to survive the cataclysmic events unfolding on the space station. You also see recordings revealing clues to the horror that has taken place when you were away... And the aliens are transforming people by merging them with horrific super beings called Elite. This is so brilliant, and reminds me of Systemshock2.
The Best Alternative to Fox's "Alien" Universe (In A Game)
Brad "Bwad", Amazon
2 December 2002
Summary: I only wish Fox's attempts at conveying the creepiness of the original "Alien" in a video game had been as successful as this alternate, yet unique, form. I read early reviews by reporters who had seen "beta" trade show demos of this game, and complained that the final product lacked something the demo promised. But these reporters need to realize that consumers generally don't go to trade shows and so aren't biased against the final release.
