Summary: I picked up this game about 2 weeks ago at a local game store as a spur of the moment type of thing. What really captured me to buy it was the title and because it said on the back of the case that it was a Sci-Fi Action/Survival Horror game. And I'm a huge fan of the Survival Horror genre. Now, I must say that this game isn't really survival horror unless you count some of the suspenseful creepy music and the very few times the monsters actually do jump out at you.
Summary: This will be simple and short; those who say this game was bad only say that because they have jello for brains. its worth the time to play, regardless of potential simplicites or small lackings, truly it is...trust me folks, try this "run-and gun" game and i think you'll find it quite cool for what it is...
Summary: I WANT TO GIVE IT 4.5 STARS, BUT I CANT. IT IS A GREAT GAME WITH AN EXCELLENT STORYLINE. USER FRIENDLY CONTROLS AND EXCITING GAMEPLAY. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT. ONLY ONE DRAWBACK- IT IS TOO EASY. ALTHOUGH THE MONSTERS ARE WELL DEVELOPED AND VISCIOUS, THEY DIE FAR TOO EASILY. IT IS NOT SO MUCH THAT THEY ARE WEAK, BUT THAT YOUR WEAPONS BECOME WAY TOO POWERFUL, WHICH SERIOUSLY CUTS BACK ON THE CHALLENGE.
Summary: Im not really into Sci-Fi games or adventure games but this is a really enjoying game. I first played the demo and knew i had to have it. So I got on amazon.com and bought it. This is the funest game I have played in a long time. There are great graphics, well, awsome graphics, sweet looking aliens, and awsome voice. I dont know what others are saying about the game being 'too challenging' or 'impossible' because it is the perfect mix.
Summary: my friends said i was stupid when i first rented this game, when they played it they disliked how they were stuck all the time etc. i played it and got used to how it worked, though it has its cons (hard puzzles, easy to get lost, and constant shooting) its pros make up for it (great voice overs, unbelievable graphics, easy control, beautiful bloody story, etc.
Summary: I don't want to argue with other reviewers, but I thought the game was rather easy to complete. Now that doesn't mean that I didn't like the game. I thought the graphics were incredible and the storyline held true to most Sci-fi horror games (save yourself and the human race). Unlike other games, the voice overs/acting was very well done and in general the whole game played out like a movie, which I liked. The Music was good and the sound effects did their job.
Summary: OK i have to agree with everyone and say that this game is better then Resident Evil, you cant really say taht about many games.I am a big RE fan ,but this game really blew me away, i mean the gameplay was like nothing i have ever expriencend before. The storyline was very fresh after playing RE ,and other Survival-Horror games. The music (done by Breaking Benjamin) ties very well into the game. One thing that is a great feature to this game is that, unlike other...
Summary: Run like hell is a solid game for the PS2 it has a few flaws but is a great game in many ways. You play nick conner coming back from a mission you find that your space base has dameged by aleins that look great (and scary). The problem is the controls they are so slugish it is some times hard to remeber what buttons are what. Another problem is the auto aim it is hard to kill at least 3 aleins on screen. the puzzles are mind bending and a fresh change from the action.
Summary: I was totally blown away when I played a demo of this game, it was straight from Japan so I couldnt understand the text and the dialouge but from what I saw the game is a total killer. Everything from the enviroments to the charecters themselves are very detailed, almost as if it was tooken straight from a Steven Speilberg movie or from a Sci Fi channel original movie.
