Rumble Roses PS2 Review

Console Obsession
31 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Sex has played quite a part in games in recent years, though with the likes of the Dead or Alive series and Leisure Suit Larry, as well as the many other titles that feature scantily clad leading ladies, it’s without doubt at its most prevalent today. Rumble Roses is yet another example of the ever increasing sexual themes in games. The game is a wrestling title with a twist, featuring an all female cast, with not a single muscle bound man in sight.

  • Summary: An acquired taste. A lack of modes, creation tools and other oddities puts it way below games like Smackdown!

  • Summary: Pete has a titilating time with the all-female grappling breast-fest that is Yuke's Rumble Roses, but do the Roses have what it takes to pin the wrestling genre?

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Roses certainly takes catfighting to the extreme. Serious wrestling fans looking for a sim with depth and a detailed playing options should consider looking elsewhere but for many gamers it will be tough to pass up the opportunity to roll around in the mud with these chicks.

Real Roses Have Thorns

GIN

  • Excerpt: One of my favorite websites is called Wrestlecrap. On it, the very worst angles, characters, and gimmicks in pro wrestling are exploited, and at the beginning of each year, they come up with the annual Gooker awards. Named after the infamous Gobbeldy Gooker incident at Survivor Series 1990, the Gooker award is given to the absolute worst angle to come out this year.

Rumble Roses

  • Conclusion: Dieses Spiel sollte man keiner Alice Schwarzer-Freundin und Emma-Leserin zeigen.
  • Cons: Zu wenig Spielmodi, Schlechter Multiplayerpart, keine Langzeitmotivation
