Summary: I have read the reviews below and I am not sure if we have been playing the same game! I am not a die hard rugby fan but I found this game easy to get into and pick up and play and had fun with it. Having said that I bought the game really cheap and this is reflected in my ratings.
Summary: It could have been so good but I agree with many of the comments here. The overriding problem in terms of game play is that there is a lag before your commands are actioned in the game and that there is a moment after something happens in the game (eg tackles, side steps, etc etc) where your player...
Summary: Having played rugby challenege for all of a half a day, I feel the trash can is where it will spend the rest of its days. It initially looks a promising game and the tutorials are a fun introduction. Playing the game though is just one disappointment after another.
Summary: Very dull game. You never lose the ball in rugs - meaning that whoever gets the ball at kick off retains possession for the entire half of the game. So whoever has possession will eventually score a try by going through about 20 phases.
Summary: this game is not as good as rugby 2006 or super league rugby 2. it sometimes gives fotrward passes but when you off load and the ball is passed forward it just carries on and there is no offsides because 1 time i kicked it and my player was on the line he caught it and the try was given if i was you...
Summary: After the disappointment of EA Rugby 06 (with it's random turnovers), i tried this and was left more than happy! It's fast, fluid, the graphics are sharp (although cartoony - which i personally quite like).
Summary: A very annoying feature of this game is it very oftens locks up after a match in career mode, I've had to replay about half of the match due to this. Also no offside and no catch and drive from the lineout are very annoying,
Summary: An alcoholic handicapped monkey could have come up with a better game than this. All the p-layers looked deformed like mr universe contestants. The game play is unrealistic (never known a winger who can only run full sprint for two seconds makin the england team). Plus the game play is mind numbing.
