Excerpt: today i will be reviewing rugby 2004 for the playstation2. there is one point of this game is quite simply play rugby this game is one of the rare rugby games on the market. the graphics on this game is very good. the people look like people and all in all the visual side of the game is very good. this game i find not to be very addictive as really its the sort of game you can stop, not play for a month then go back and enjoy the game again.
This game is Shear Brilliance and I highly recommend it!

Excerpt: This Rugby game is one of the best , maybe because there are not many rugby games for the playstation but this game certainly gives you a lot. Numerous tournaments which allows me to go my beloved Leicester Tigers and win the European Trophy mainly through the boot of Andy Goode. This game allows the player to control the game in a way that games have never allowed you to before.
Excerpt: Rugby 2004 is fun. It's fun if you're a newbie, and fun after you know a little bit about the sport. Although I played a bit of both of EA's other rugby efforts, I didn't understand the sport at all outside of the video games. But since then, I've managed to see quite a few matches through the beauty of cable television, and now have a greater appreciation for the ins and outs of the sport. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a naive Yank...
Excerpt: I real wasnt a lover of league game of rugby but when the national team was playing (ENGLAND),I'd always watch it . So when "ENGLAND" won the world cup I got exceited ,and went and bought the RUGBY 2004 game, its got all you need to know about rugby. When you first put it on you go through all the training from tackling to scoring a try before you can even start playing a proper game. When you've complete all the training you get to play by select a team of your choice.
Excerpt: The gameplay is very good on this game and it is very good that the user can play as a wide variety of teams including the Super 12, European trophy and any international team imaginable. EA have managed to get the game working well and every detail is catered for, such as the uneven bounce of a rugby ball. The different set piece options are very good and they mean that no two matches on this game are ever the same. However, the graphics are poor to say the least.
Excerpt: For all the ardent rugby fans around here I bet you couldnt wait for a rugby game. Well keep waiting, unless you go for Rugby 2005 (a slight improvement) The players dont look anything like the real thing Once you get good at it it gets very boring, there is very little depth to it Tackling is fake Ruck and mauling is fake Players are over and underated There is one quite clever thing- the world league where you can buy and sell players, but wait, its not what you think.
Excerpt: yet again EA Sports have created another enjoyable game, diferent from the fifa series and aimed at thos die hard rugby fans, you know who you are. Well this is probably the closest you will get to playing rugby with top international players like 'jonny wilkinson' but its as good as the real thing. rough tackling penalty kicks in which you have seen the stars miss, you can show how they are done.
Excerpt: If u love rugby then this is the best game out 4 u its mean big hitting and a fast paced game. There are many teams to choose from and many players to purchase ranging from world class players to poor players. The game is very challenging and there are some little tips and tricks which u can fool the opposition with and gain the advantage over them to score the vital points which could be crucial.
