Summary: Pros: Likable characters, good music and sound, good voice acting, good GUI Cons: Outmoded and too-frequent random battle system, excessively long dungeons, drab story, twists are super obvious, tedious FMVs when traveling between planets, final sequence is long and tedious (momentum killer!), awkward loading times This game instantly reminded me of Final Fantasy XIII - it's sort of action RPGish, you start in a desert town, you go on (optional) hunts for beasts.
Too much enemies, too long dungeon, too bland story

Summary: I've played 60 hours... The good: The game started out great, visual effect is awesome!!! The voice acting in this game is excellent, especially Kisala, Zegram and Deego. The bad: The powerful weapons are too easy to get, in Chap.7 you can get probably the third powerful weapon that Jaster can get, the earthshaker, and after that the game became too boring and too easy, all bosses and hunts can be killed quickly in 1-2 minutes with(just buff up and illusion sword, it's...
Summary: I'm going to give a fair and honest review about this game. I give it a three to be fair; it's too long and has too many good points to get less, but I would not recommend it. Here's why: It opens up with a great scene that gets you ready to play, and when you go into houses with no load time, you're ecstatic. The game keeps things moving! When you first run through the streets and battle a bit, you realize that this has one of the greatest battle systems EVER!
Summary: Rogue Galaxy is like Ruby Tuesday's. Sure you can get a good burger at Ruby Tuesday's but there really are not that many substantial differences between that place, Bennigans, Applebees, Chili's (well excepting fajitas and endless tostada chips), Fridays....and Rogue Galaxy has no real substantive differences with a host of scifi films and other rpgs. Let's start with the meat and potatoes.
Summary: Okay i finished this game about 3 months ago and really don't ever want to go back to it again. You know the things i actually liked about the game were The traveling to different planets, The Ships Outer design and Not to mention Kisala was actually kinda cute. It's Character Designs were not impresive. The way you had to upgrade wepons became a pain. And i never did figure if there was a second Frog. I didn't understand the whole bug catcher thing.
Summary: For all the hype on the review sites surrounding this game, I must say, I was disappointed. The combat system is unoriginal and frankly broken... it feels like micromanaging a button-masher... and that is just NOT FUN. The story, while intriguing so far, just takes too darn long to advance to be worth the time... five hours in and I just made it out of the first dungeon. This brings up another point - the difficulty of this game is unrealistic and honestly a bit cruel.
Summary: I played it, invested 80 some odd hours into it, and ultimately beat it. Did I have fun? yeah. lots to do? yeah. cool boss fights? yeah. sidequests? yeah. Would I ever play it again? No. It has no replay value. The story is boring, the characters do not have enough development, and the ending is guaranteed to piss you off.
Started off good then spiralled into repetitiveness and unoriginality

Summary: It is not hard to find the blatant similarities between Rogue Galaxly and Final Fantasy XII - both boasted huge universe to explore and quick pace action in a traditional RPG setting. However, Rogue Galaxy was more than that - it further include elements like Pokemon, Skies of Arcadia, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts. All those similarities could have made it a great game if mastered skilfully but Rogue Galaxy failed to accomplish that. The game started off pretty well.
Summary: MASTERPIECE RPG?!? Are you crazy?!? STAR OCEAN 3 & FFX were better MASTERPIECES! I have to disagree with lordkaos666. Granted it was a nice game, one might want to buy. It has ANNOYINGLY LONG WALKS. To get from one point to another, for the first time can take hours, The 2 towers took over 1hr and 30 mins each tower & the ending boss it took me 1hr 45 mins. just to reach the boss, talk about a long walk fighting all the way.
Summary: OK let me start by saying im disabled and generaly real time on rpgs is not that big of a issue ive been playing rpgs since the late 80s and rarely have diffculty but this game as other reiewers have said has terrible ai so i spent all my time playing with potions not only that but you cant actually use your best spical attacks without buton taps and in real time thes hard enough i have thought about starting over but then i think to myself the ai is not helpful so why...
