Summary: I absolutely love this game! I played it about 5 years ago when it was relatively new and even then it blew my mind! You get very connected with the characters and there so many different aspects of this game. Well ahead of its time for a PS2 game! I definitely recommend this game.
solid gameplay, impressive visuals, tons of replay, 5/5. amazing.

Summary: In an age where developers focus on graphics and what's trending, it's hard to find games that are really mind blowing. seeing as how PS2's are and the huge library of games are affordable, it's time to go play the best the system had to offer. One of these games, is Rogue Galaxy. Released in 2007 as a Playstation 2 exclusive title, Rogue Galaxy was a direct competitor to Final Fantasy 12. It won with flying colors.
Summary: As a previous owner of this game I couldn't pass on owning it agian. I won't say anything about the story, no point in anyone playing if I do, this has great game play and solid graphics. A must have for any play station owner.
Summary: Excellent RPG, like Dark Cloud mixed w/ Final Fantasy, with a little Star Wars thrown in. Tons and tons of gameplay. There is so much to do in this game, but it's not overwhelming. Good learning curve and beautiful graphics for a PS2 game. Definitely one of the PS2's last great titles.
Not every game Level 5 touches turns to gold, but some games come close.

Excerpt: Rogue Galaxy does not have amazing music. The characters are not outstandingly well-rounded and complex. The story does not enthrall you till the last second and leave you begging for more. In fact, the plot even drags at some points, and the game's originality? There's almost nothing about this game you haven't seen in past role-playing games.
Excerpt: "An eternal voyage through the murky blackness sprinkled with billions of points of light, each with its own history written there in the dark. This is a story inscribed on one such point of light - a story of heroes." These words begin your voyage into the world of Rogue Galaxy, an adventure that spans six planets, each diverse in its cultures, customs, and environments. Plus, you get to be a space pirate, and who could say no to that?
