Read more

The premise of the game is rather simple: young hero Jaster dreams of visiting other worlds one day, but he's stuck on a primitive planet known as Rosa. Although supposedly under military protection, Jaster’s hometown is one day overrun by monsters. In an attempt to save his city from destruction, Jaster meets a mysterious man with an overwhelming amount of skill in battle. Said mystery man gives Jaster his sword before vanishing, and Jaster is left on his own to vanq... Read more

Rogue Galaxy (hopefully not) may be the last epic Japanese RPG to hit the PlayStation 2 and begins on the desert planet of Rosa where a young hunter named Jaster is getting by on the rations of the planet's occupiers. One of many planets that have been annexed as a war rages across the galaxy. Jaster dreams of one day exploring the galaxy and visiting exotic planets. Unbeknownst to him destiny is about to kick his door in and make his dreams come tru... Read more

Level 5, the developer of Dark Cloud and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, brings us another wonderful RPG that’s filled with quirky characters and stunning settings. In fact, if you liked DQ VIII it’s an absolute certainty that you’ll love Rogue Galaxy. However, if you didn’t get round to playing DQ VIII then you’ve got something to look forward to. Read more

All in all, Rogue Galaxy is a really solid RPG title for the PS2, and while it doesnt manage to fill in the top slot for RPGs on the system, it definitely ranks up there in the top 4 or 5. Level 5 fans wont be disappointed in the presentation, and almost all RPG fans should find something to enjoy here. Heres hoping that this combat system is a step in the right direction for their upcoming PS3 releases. Read more

This is a very outstanding and unbelievable RPG. The more story goes, the more it will excite your hearts. The gameplay and battle system is definitely comforting and reasonable. Although it combines cell-shaded and graphic texture, it wouldn't cease the value of this game at all. Read more
