Summary: The map is very similar to Fire emblem or Advance wars and there is a ton of tactics involved. The mechs are the best looking ive ever seen i prefer the big chunky slow mechs compared to the many futuristic titles out there.
Summary: The game came with original case with no damage. The manual was included and was in perfect condition. The manual did not have any tears, stains, or marks whatsoever. The condition of the disc was perfect without the slightest scratch.
Summary: Personally, I can't understand why anyone wouldn't like this game. It has everything a person needs from their interactive entertainment. This includes: 1) Nice effects that, contrary to some reviews, do manage to keep your attention. These range from the mechanized tanks themselves moving through their attack patterns, seasonal change-ups, support troops that have their own moves, and some nice looking backgrounds to accent your battles.
Summary: I have dozen PS2 games and this jewel is probably the best so far. Not because of awesome graphics or sounds, but because of the brilliance of deepness and immersivesness of the game itself! The Bouncer had stunning graphics and involving plot but navigator's intelligence was compleately underestimated! In other words: If you like thinking, skip Bouncer and get Ring of Red instead!
Summary: This game is very fun to play. The graphics are great. The gameplay is easy,(once you get used to it)and the game doesn't end quickly like some of the others. If you like strategy, this one's for you.
Summary: Well this game has a couple a outstanding attributes first off the graphics. The battle scenes are very immersive the view of the shells hitting the A.F.W.'s (armored fighting walkers) is amazing it actually feels like your watching a documentary of sorts, The entire sequence of the battle scenes (including the cut scenes) are done very well, they remind me alot of the magic and summon's scenes of final fantasy 7 and 8.
Summary: This is a great game. It takes a while to learn the basic gameplay and battle sequences. But once you do, the game becomes fun and pretty addictive. There are a ton of missions and chapters, so you'll have many hours of gameplay waiting for you. The story is interesting, the graphics and nice, and the sound is great. Buy this if you love strategy games and hours and hours of interesting gameplay.
Summary: This game carries on after WW II. When you play you control army men and ROBOTS. Yep, You heard ROBOTS any person who likes Mech Warrior and those games, get this. Overall the graphics are very sharp and clear. When it comes to detail for the army men uuuuuuuuummmmm its ok. Not great. The special effects are great for example explosions. The game is a reall challenge. Pure stratergy. I would buy it if you have a chance.
Excerpt: "Ring of Red is one of those games that is so simplistic as to be a great game. The setting of the game is based on an alternate history where Japan was divided up after World War 2 in much the same way as Germany was. Another twist is that primitive walkers (mechs) were used as all terrain combat platforms in WWII, (they have video footage to prove it too!). The game plays out the next stage in Japan’s “history” set in the 1960s you take on ...
