Dark visuals and boring

Amazon
3 May 2004
  • Summary: I just finished this game and was not happy. The visuals are way too dark, even on the brightest options settings it was hard to see. What a disappointment. My biggest problem was with the very linear plot, one way through each level, walk in and shoot. No strategy at all. My latest test of a good game: Walk up to a fuel tanker truck, place a ton of explosives on the side and detonate.

Let down

Michael Daly, Amazon
2 June 2003
  • Summary: I've only played the first 3 boards so far. However that's enough to know this game is worth only $..., not $.... The shooting action and killing action are fairly [bad]. When you shoot, you don't get the sense that your doing the shooting. It feels more like your pushing a button on a controller which is activating an animated gun on your television screen. The same is true for when you hit someone (shooting them).

Bog Standard

Duncan McDonald "Dunk", amazon.co.uk
17 December 2008
  • Summary: I agree with Chris Kippers review, or at least the PS2 parts. This game is a bog standard first person shooter. Not great, not particularly bad, just average. You run, gun, kick things and open things. Later on there are zombies and Nazis etc. The games has a DOOM feel about it (by the same developer). Graphics are a bit rough and the sound is practically non-existent, gunshots only.

Poor Mans Medal Of Honour

DARREN ROTHWELL, amazon.co.uk
11 June 2003
  • Summary: This game is a big disappointment it plays and looks like a out of date PC game that has not been updated when converted to the playstation 2. The sound comes across dubbed, and when playing the game you dont feel as if your involved as you should be. If your looking for a no frills knockabout then this game will pass the time but if your looking for something special stick to medal of honour and save your money.
