Summary: Resident Evil outbreak takesplace during the innital Zombie outbreak in Raccoon city. The game starts off in a bar and all hell breaks loose. You are presented with a cast of survivors to choose from each with thier own skills and traits such as lock pick, some characters are better with guns than others meaning they will be terrible shots. A fiew things about this game really got on my nerves such as the horrible voice acting really dumb A.I.
Summary: Resident Evil Outbreak was (to me) Very stupid. I hated it because you can control more than one person. And you can't hold many item. The graphics were ok. The storyline was stupid. I played it for a couple hours, turned it off and never played it again and never will. And I've never played Outbreak File 2 and I never will. I thought Resident Evil Survivor & Dead Aim was better than this.
Summary: very hard to get my head around this game R.E 4 was a knock out I thought this one would be good I was soon disappointed its very cumbersome and you spend more time reading the cheats and walk troughs than you spend with game play I am not real interested in being responsible for teammates it should be everyone for itself. and I dont ever for see playing om line.
Resident Evil: Outbreak (PS2): Welcome Back To Raccoon City
21 January 2011
Summary: If Dawn of The Dead is the standard for zombie movies, I think it's safe to say that Resident Evil is the standard for zombies in videogames. No other title has ever managed to capture the initial horror of meeting that first flesh eating freak, not even newer zombie titles like Dead Rising. It's clear Capcom knew they were onto a winner and so made Resident Evil 2, one of the few cases where a sequel was better than the original.
Pros: Great graphics and music, good range of characters
Cons: Lack of levels, woeful AI, no promised Online
Resident evil outbreak - just dont waste your time
7 May 2007
Excerpt: "Resident evil outbreak is a PS2 exclusive that was realesed after a dry spell of resident evil games on the PS2 and in response to the amazing GC remake of the original. Unfortunatly it lacks the gameplay and graphics of the GC exclusive - leaving something that could have been good but was much more of a 'hit and miss' effort by capcom as a failed attemped to revamp a series that was fine to begin with. To start off with the main difference is ...
Pros: errrrrmm . . . . . . . . . . .
Cons: just bad all round, dont compare to resident evil 4 or REmake
Excerpt: "...a decade since the original Resident Evil (or Biohazard, if you're Japanese) title burst onto the then still-youthful PlayStation scene. 1996's best game was serious, violent and controversial, but also intelligent, challenging and gorgeous to look at. It came to define 'survival-horror' as we now know it today, and with two rip-roaring sequels following over the next four years, Capcom's series was assured 'classic' status by the time the PSOne-era ...
Pros: Looks quite nice, five large scenarios, eight characters, massive selection of extras
Excerpt: "...a stalwart fan of the Resident Evil series since I played the first game on the original Playstation back at University. Whilst the games themselves did not prove too great a challenge the storyline made it compelling and some of the little touches made it a much more interesting game playing experience - more than your average dumb hack and slash zombie game. For example, many horror games suffer due to the ease at which the gamer can save his ...
Pros: Good graphics and atmospheric sound
Cons: A poor relation of the previous Resident Evil games
Excerpt: "Resident evil outbreak is the latest game of the resi evil series. The story involves 8 people after a hard day of work trying to survive against the horde of zombie that wants the flesh of your body. This game was originally mean’t to be online as many of us hope it to be; they found this impossible because of LAN line issues in Europe or something like that and now all we are left with is 5 short parts of the story going from a local pub-a development ...
Excerpt: "Resident evil: Outbreak is the newest instalment in the resident evil series, and too be honest it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Again, Umbrella, (an agency), has created a t-virus which turns everyone it comes into contact with a flesh eating zombie, who then passes on the virus. (How many times can they keep doing this)? This virus spreads into Racoon City and soon the city is zombie infested. You have to stay alive, and escape Racoon City. ...
