Summary: Code Veronica is hands down the most frustrating, pain-in-the-butt Resident Evil game in the entire series. The formula is the same, but the game is horribly imbalanced. If you don't play through it in a very specific way, it is possible to reach a point where it literally becomes unplayable because you will run out of ammo.
Summary: I have been a fan of resident evil games for quite some time, so when I purchased my play station this is one of the first games I bought. The graphics and voice-overs dont bother me, what bothers me is the you are constantly running out of ammo, health and patience. This is the 3rd time that I have had to restart the game over to see if I could save more ammo to kill that monsters in the airplane which by the way is practically invincible.
Summary: I have been a Resident Evil fan for quite some time so when I bought my PS2 this is one of the very first games that I bought. I am very dissapointed, graphics are O.K and the voice- over's don't bother me at all what bothers me is that you are constantly running out of ammo, health and patience, the game is too hard to beat, I have tried many times without any success and I am still stuck in the airplane trying to kill the big zombie dude which by the way is impossible,...

Excerpt: "...through a selection of spooky Resident Evil Code: Veronica environments, blasting large holes in the undead in a first-person light gun shoot 'em up. You even get the chance to control your hero's movement via the Dpad or the side buttons on the gun. Or at least you might, providing you have crazy claw-hands and the mental ability to defy all current laws on hand-eye co-ordination. Shooting zombies dead is just about manageable. But actually using ...
Pros: Graphics are sometime okay
Cons: Shoddy controls, feels unfinished, long load times
Summary: The first thing you notice about this game is how difficult it is to control the character - you are continually bumping into things, turning around the wrong way, jumping - how you are supposed to run away or shoot the living dead also is beyond me. They don't seem to have the same problems and when they attack you pretty much screwed, you die and then have to start all over. I played it once and got rid the same day!
Excerpt: "If you like slasher movies you'll like this - its horrible. From the start this game is stomach churning at worst and depressing at best. The constant moaning of the zombies is soul-destroying and soon grates. After watching (or even overhearing) someone play this for a while you feel like joining the dark legions yourself. The playability is poor with sketchy graphics, they look like they've been specially done for a comic. The action is very ...
Summary: Quite simply I was expecting a lot more. I'm a big RE fan and I hired this from my video store. It wouldn't have been that bad if I hadn't played the devil may cry demo 5 seconds before I gave REC:V-X a spin. Slow and limited character movement made me switch it off after half an hour. BIG LET DOWN.
