Summary: Purchased for my little lad he hasn't tried it yet but I have. Just the kind of game I was looking for - simple game play and fantastic graphics if you are buying this for a youngster, 7 to 11 - you can't go wrong.
Summary: since its creation, rayman is a game that has promised a lot and yet achieves very little. in this modern age where the ps2 is rife with well designed platformers rayman falls behind. more modern platformers such as jak and daxter and ratchet and clank have much more to offer than this dated game. At times this game has an element of fun but as the game becomes slightly more difficult (admittedly not hugely) the flaws start to appear.
Excerpt: "...if you’ve never come across Rayman before, he is a little creature that can fire balls form his fist and uses his hair as a helicopter. In this particular version, he is aided by his friend Globox, but alas he gets captured at the beginning of the game, and off Rayman goes to save his ally. He has various friends and enemies along the way (you know the routine). There are pirates out to stop him, and so far I have not had any problems ...
Summary: Rayman Revolution is a "cute" character platform game with various stages and worlds. I have really enjoyed playing it and find it ideal for someone who isn't addicted to Playstation games and has a social life so only plays them for fun when the weather is bad or if I have a monster hangover.
Summary: I bought this game because both my female flat mates said that hated any sort of computer game. It is true that few girls want to play Gran Turismo A-spec or Quake III. A little research made me think that this game would have girl appeal. Luckily or unluckily they both like the game a lot.
Excerpt: "What a fantastic game! I bought this game after becoming addicted to the first one, and I must be honest, it's great! There are a lot of dodgy games for the PS2 at the moment but this isn't one of them. This was a first class buy. The overall game isn't too hard but the challenge of completing all the side quests, bonus levels, abilities and mini game gives it a huge value for replayability. You just have to find that last lum! With great graphics ...
Summary: at first this game is very good and fun to play but it only took me 3 days to finish 100% so the difficulty level of this game is very very low, much lower than either the dreamcast or P.C. version of this game. also the graphics are not as good as people seem to think they are when you compare this version of rayman to the P.C. and Dreamcast ones. the graphics are blurred and the frame rate is not as fast as the sort of thing that we have come to accept from the PS2.

Summary: A lot of thought has obviously gone into producing this title. The gameplays difficulty level increases at the same speed that you get to grips with the control system, to build up to a challenging a varied game. Rayman doesn't only run, jump, grab etc. there is a waterskiing section, rocket riding sections and clever use of his helicoptor abilities to add great variety to the game (and this is only in the first 1/5th of the game, plus bonus levels gallore which includes...
