Ratchet: Deadlocked

Auracore MediaWorks

  • Summary: The run and gun action is as fun and explosive as ever, and players certainly won't miss Crank.
  • Pros: Great presentation; nice graphics, especially the explosions; loaded with cool weapons; trademark addictive run and gun gameplay
  • Cons: Confusing interface; frame rate slows during frantic action; Clank isn't playable; robot companions are less than helpful.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Unless you plan to go for a 100% completion rate and/or will be playing the excellent online mode, there really isn't enough here to get your teeth into, regardless of how much you may have enjoyed past Ratchet games.
