Timeless game for a timeless console

Excerpt: Blowing the dust off my PS2 and digging through a box to find all my old games memories flooded back. This game was the bees knees in my childhood, a bonding experience for siblings and friends. A game that can be played at any age, even in the late teens like myself.
Excerpt: After being five worlds from completion, I ended up turning it off. Sure it was great to begin with and felt just as good as the first, but as time went on I started to find it boring and irritating. Plot: After saving the world in the previous game, the duo is back but rather bored this time.
Pros: More of the same but with a lot of extra types of gameplay thrown in
Cons: More of the same but with a lot of extra types of gameplay thrown in
Ratchet and Clank 2 - Can it really be the greatest game ever!!!!

Excerpt: I have never loved a series more than the ratchet and clank series and their second adventure does not cease to impress. For its time i believe there is no better game - a mixture of a light hearted adventure, great graphics and fantastic gameplay easily makes Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded...
Pros: Everything about his game just makes you want to play more and more ! ! ! ! ! - just read the review . . .
Cons: None and i am really not kidding ! ! ! ! ! !
Excerpt: You play as Ratchet, a friendly lombax character with tonnes of weapons, and a robot on your back you've named Clank. Fresh from their adventure which was stopping Chairman Drek, they embark on a new adventure which is to stop a thief who stole an experimental creature from company giant Mega Corp,...
Excerpt: In Ratchet & Clank 2, the two unlikely pals team up again for an all-new sci-fi adventure combining action-platform, exploration, adventure, puzzle-solving, strategy, role-playing and racing into one compelling experience resulting in plenty of explosions and devastation.
Excerpt: Overall: This is a brilliant game, and definitely a worthy purchase for any platforming fan. The weapons are all original, and most are upgradeable. Gadjets are inuitive, and the graphics are top notch. The story is compelling, and the replay value is defintiely there.
Pros: Brilliant plstforming fun with great weapons
Excerpt: Unlike the movie industry, when a sequel to a computer game comes around, the programmers and designers are far better at realising the mistakes they made the first time round. Look at the Police Academy films for flips sake, they're a constant reminder of how not to do anything ever, anywhere.
Pros: Brain Intoxicatingly Good Fun For Both Young And Old
Cons: Some Minor Niggles, Can Be Difficult In Parts
Excerpt: To put it simply, if you liked the original ‘Ratchet & Clank’, you’re going to love this sequel which improves upon its predecessor in pretty much every way. The game begins with the two heroes being swept off to a distant galaxy to help recover a stolen experimental ‘protopet’.
Excerpt: After enjoying the first in this series so much, I threatened my husband with divorce if I didn’t get this game for Christmas. Luckily for me (and him), he decided to opt for a peaceful December and get me it.
Excerpt: Ratchet and Clank was easily my favourite PlayStation 2 game last year (ok, not so easily, Sly cooper was pretty fantastic). I’ll spare you the specific story details, but essentially, Ratchet and Clank are dried-up heroes.
